Perfectly located, large clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Exactly what you want for a few days of Bangkok

Room was clean, all the staff from front desk, cleaners and doormen exceptionally friendly and helpful, and for the size of the room you get with a huge buffet breakfast, great value for price.

Friends from 3 continents arrived at the Benviar Tonson Residence in July (and of all times Big Buddha Day with no alcohol for 2 days!). Anyway, the hotel had informed us a week prior to our arrival that the 4 bedroom we booked was unavailable due to maintenance but was very helpful along with hotels.com to replace us with a Premium 3 bedroom + seperate 1 bedroom. The Premium 3 bedroom was very nice. Nice view, good sized balcony, full kitchen, working laundry, good entertainment system with projector and good size bedrooms and beds. The only feedback I'll give is that a proper sofa would be much more fitting (and comfortable). Location was good... definitely walkable to the BTS but we mainly rideshared around due to the rain. Often took about 15 mins to/from Central World with the jam which is about the same as if on foot. Service was efficient. There were an army of cleaners and maintenance that kept the rooms at tip top shape. Overall, I loved it and will definitely stay again.

If it’s kowtowing and staff making you fee like the person you wish you were, then find somewhere else to stay. This hotel is far too good for you. We frequent this hotel at least once a year. The recently refurbished breakfast buffet is on par with every other breakfast buffet you’ll find out there. The kind staff are never overbearing. You never have to put up with an expatriate staff member greeting you with insincerity. The Frand Mercure feels more like home. And just like home it’s a little rough around the edges, but that is exactly why we will continue to patronise his establishment.

5 mins walk to shopping center A or 10min walk to shopping center B. 7 eleven just 1 min walk. everything was great but wifi signal was bad. be prepared to bring 3000baht for hotel deposit. when i asked why they couldn't explain. just a hotel policy. bring your own slippers, dont use hotel's. they aren't disposal ones, unhygienic to use.
