Fabulous place to stay

We were two couples and two Shetland Sheepdogs, who stayed for two nights. we will most defiantly be booking again, our only complaint being that we did not book to stay longer. Thank you Melissa for making us so welcome in your beautiful home. We felt very spoilt with home made bread, dog treats, and such a very warm welcome. We stayed in this property with another family- 4 adults and 5 children in total. We had the best time! The house was perfect to comfortably sleep us all. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up a couple of meals. By far the highlight of the property is the beautiful back yard!! The pool, spa and outdoor area is amazing. We spent many hours enjoying the outside space. The property was very clean, the hosts very responsive, and the location convenient to town and shops. We would have no hesitation to recommend this beautiful home.

The best appointed property we’ve ever stayed in. Top quality appliances, as new furnishings and ducted aircon. It appeared as though the owners left their personal belongings throughout the property - a situation we had never encountered before - and we were unsure as to whether we were allowed to use these things, as no written instructions were left. While the property is 15 minutes out of town, there is a small shopping centre with a Coles a couple of minutes away. The beaches are all a short drive away. Highly recommend this property.

The house had literally everything we needed and it was super clean and well maintained. The whole family loved it and our dog loved watching the world from the back deck. The location was great, walking distance to Shelly Beach, and really close to Lighthouse Beach which is super dog-friendly. Plus, one of my favourite cafes, Sea Acres, was a 5min walk from the house. Plus, Katie was an absolute superstar. So easy to deal with and very responsive. Thank you!

Seahorse House is a very well-maintained and equipped holiday property, with a delightful outdoor area and pool for relaxation. We really enjoyed waking up to all the birds around the generally quiet neighbourhood. The owners, Marion and Colin, are very helpful and welcoming. It's a lovely place to stay, and we can't wait to return.

So pleased we decided to head to Lake Cathie, just out of Port Macquarie. What a treasure to be found. I could not fault the apartment's most amazing outlook onto the sea. Close to stores and the tavern.
