Sicily house rentals

The apartment is located in a quiet area in the old town. It is very central to most activities and quiet. The apartment is extremely well appointed and was very comfortable. There are several very good restaurants within easy walking distance.

We absolutely loved our three night stay at Giovanna’s place. It is basically in Scopello, the shops and beach being a one minute drive north, and the southern entrance to Zingaro less than ten minutes. The house is situated up on the cliffs overlooking the marvellous Sicilian coast and Tyrrhenian Sea. There is a private staircase down to the water where we had ritual morning and late afternoon swims. Expect mesmerising sunsets and sunrises. The house itself is simple and cozy, but was adequate, particularly given we spent most of out time outdoors. THe kitchen is basic, but we still cooked three delicious dinners. Giovanna is the sweetest host who met us personally at check-in, and kissed us goodbye at checkout. Can’t recommend this place more.

Everything was wonderful for our family of 3 generations for the holiday. Access to the beach was a bit tricky for grandparents at first but we all learned. The house was perfect and we will come again.

Carmelo met us at the apartment and was very thorough in explaining the apartment's features and gave us useful information on Ragusa Ibla. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has good views and lots of natural light. Very well located for discovering Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. We found this house perfect for us. It was very quiet, clean, good kitchen utensil, very comfy bed, good linen, hot water, good secure onsite parking and reliable WiFi. The owners, Mario and Angela were the perfect hosts, providing many extras in the house including a basket of welcoming gifts on the table to greet us. They spoke good English and gave us good information on the local area. The house has beautful views to Mt Etna, the ocean and Taormina which is a must see, with a large terrace perfect for meals and relaxing. We doubt that there is better accommodation available in the area. We really enjoyed our time there.
