Great for families, clean and tidy and amazing view. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Very helpful host.

We stayed here for our wedding. The bridal party stayed for one night and then my husband and our 2 children stayed for an extra 3 nights after the wedding. It was perfect for a group of girls or for a family. We absolutely loved it and would love to come back. A quick walk to the beach and a beautiful back yard the kids could run around it. Worth every penny.

Stayed a week, lovely outlook over the lake. This house has everything you need including all kitchen utensils.Host Leanne was very quick with communication. Highly recommend staying here excellent accommodation in a quiet location.

We have stayed multiple times and each stay has been perfect in every way. Our host Cathie is a very generous, kind person who has taken care off all of our requests. The home is very dog friendly and in a fantastic location for walking dogs or shopping at Woolies. We look forward to our next stay .

We are totally in love with Rudders River View Cottage. It was our second time visiting and it won’t be the last. Everything is just perfect. The location, the view, the cottage has everything you need and the host’s Paul ,Chantal, their boys and of course Frankie the cavoodle are very welcoming, kind and very friendly. We were greeted with homegrown fresh herbs and fruit, a chilled bottle of bubbly, and a lovely red wine—such a warm and generous touch!The facilities were immaculate, with everything spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The outdoor BBQ area was fantastic, providing a perfect spot to enjoy meals surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Smiths Lake.Steve went above and beyond to make our stay special, setting out kayaks for us and offering helpful advice on the best places to safely paddle around the lake. Exploring the natural, untouched beauty of this area was a highlight of our trip—it truly is breathtaking.Steve and Kaz were the perfect hosts: kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They made us feel completely at home and left no stone unturned in ensuring our stay was perfect.We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and all it has to offer. Couldn't believe the place was even nicer than the pictures. Booked as a surprise for a babymoon and my wife loved every minute of it. All the little details the host puts into the place really make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn't have been better, great value.

Anna and Trev are excellent hosts. Beautiful quiet clean property. Anna added little touches to the property. Little flower vases everywhere. Farm fresh eggs, milk, margarine, jam, coffee and tea's.
