From the moment we arrived, the Swanport General Store’s heritage charm and location impressed us. The cottage was impeccably clean, spacious and appointed with thoughtful touches, and it was equipped with everything we needed. The comfy sofas in the cosy lounge offered a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the perfectly framed river‑flat views. The verandah and BBQ area were ideal spaces for unwinding after a day exploring the surroundings. Highly recommend!

We came to Tailem Bend for an event at the track. Comfortably fit our group of 6. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Extremely clean and lovely fit out and build. Would definitely stay here again for our next trip!

Top notch, the property has been lovingly restored and in perfect condition for a large group or several families.
We even managed to rid the billabong of a few nasty big carp but heavy fishing tackle is required due to the size and weight of the horrors. In earlier times we would have used the boat ramp and had a ski but there is now more runway behind us than in front! thanks Peter and Di.
