We had a wonderful, relaxing stay with Mark and Judith. The images on the ad don't do justice to The Old Shack. It is comfy, extremely well designed and built and an ideal place for a get away from the rat race. Easy access, no wi-fi (which was wonderful for us) and everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. Thanks Mark and Judith

This cabin had everything we needed and Kathryn was very easy to communicate with. We stayed during winter when it is very quiet and tranquil. There wasn't much to do in the area but we kept ourselves entertained with games and kayaks.

I loved the peaceful, unique location and the home felt spacious and luxurious.The activities for the kids were terrific, keeping them entertained for hours.I highly recommend this property, I would definitely like to stay again.

This property is exactly as advertised. An idyllic location taking in beautiful riverfront views. We stayed with 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable, with plenty of cupboards and storage space in each. The extra full-size fridge/freezer in the bar area and additional kitchenette is perfect for extra food and drinks for larger groups. My teenagers loved Kayaking on the river and enjoying sitting around a fire pit each night (make sure to take fire wood). The back deck area overlooking the river is great for relaxing on with a morning coffee and plenty of room to have all meals. We never left in the 3 days we were there.The Kitchen is well equipped, however I would just suggest taking some additional dishwasher tablets if staying with a bigger group and eating in a lot, requiring using the dishwasher after most meals. Location was lovely and close for a long weekend getaway option from the Sydney area, while not having to contend with the usual long weekend or holiday traffic on freeways. The whole process was very easy from booking, communication, checkin/out and the host was great with communication. We would definitely recommend this Riverfront stay.

Very impressed with the cabin. It has everything and more that you could need. Very clean and super comfy beds.

Absolutely loved this property! It was a great stay and the property manager had a very quick response time. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was cleaned when we came in too. Overall loved the property and service.

This property is very roomy and well presented. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of its surroundings.
