Lovely cute cottage with everything you need in the kitchen and awesome selection of movies to watch cosied to the fireplace (that was all setup ready to just light when we arrived). Plenty of wood for a few days.
Nice little drive to Bowral and Mittagong with their great food and thousands of antique shops!
The biggest challenge was with no wifi we were stuck relying on 2 bars of intermittent 3G reception from Telstra. Made it really hard to get the small amount of work I needed todo whilst away. If your looking for a digital detox, then this is the place for you.

A truly remarkable property, and one of our favourites ever. The house has such character and charm, with a real feeling of peace and tranquillity, despite being only a short drive from Mittagong or the freeway. This makes it incredibly convenient, while still feeling as though you are really escaping to the country. The house has all the amenities we required, and being both pet and child friendly was a real bonus.

We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays.
On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture. We advised Property Management who have said they would get these things checked. Would confirm this has been done before returning.
