There were 10 family members staying in this spacious house, we were greeted on arrival and shown around this amazing house which backs onto the water. There was a lovely welcome gift which we all enjoyed various bits of over our time spent here. There is a pool table which certainly kept the younger (and older!) ones entertained, there are tv’s in all rooms and the entire house is tastefully decorated. The plunge pool and spa were lovely too. I couldn’t fault this property.

Property was easy to access and presented well. Has plenty of room for all, comfortable and affordable. Close to amenities and an overall great choice for a family holiday!

This was such a beautiful place to stay, very central to a lot of places we visited. Would be happy to stay there again.

Overall property is just like the pictures. Bedrooms are large. Furniture, linen and location make it feel like a luxury vacation. Although its an apartment, it feels like a single home with private backyard and entrance. We would definitely book again. Minor drawbacks. Check in process was confusing. The key box is literally on the ground which is confusing because there is also a cleaner lock box on the wall. I wasted about 15 mins with the wrong lock box. Also the enterance is seperate on the side and not part of the complex. Wasted another 15 mins. And lastly you have to use the keys to enter the garage from the side door, and open it from the inside. Wasted about 15 mins trying to get in the garage door. Some better instructions would help. But overall it was really enjoyable staying there.

Derk and Julie kindly allowed a team of event professionals (booked to work at the Commonwealth Games) take over their luxurious property for 4 weeks. We needed a place to unwind and relax and this property allowed us an abundance of space, luxury and fun. Every mod con you could imagine was thought of and supplied from Himalayan sea salt to outdoor sunken bath. The young ones could play pool, swim in the pool, watch Netflix on wide screen while I cooked up a storm in the well equipped kitchen. The configuration on the villa allowed for all of us to have downtime without stepping over each other. We could walk to the beach within 7 minutes but on our off days there was no need as we had our own private jetty, gym, kayaks, pool, daybeds and Jacuzzi. The rare times we ventured out to dinner we could walk to the most amazing restaurants including Gemelli and Etsu. The more energetic went to 19 the roof top at Star again only a 600 metre walk. Our hosts were informative, on hand whenever we needed them but completely discreet and respectful. One of the many highlights and surprises was when they brought the cleaners in to clean and refresh...... I wish we could bring them home to Sydney as their finish was immaculate. Thank you Julie and Derk, we loved your home and cannot wait to return ...... We had no complaints only praises and can't wait to return - for a holiday . Thanks for looking after us so well we really appreciated it !!
