McCrae rentals with pool

Majestic McCrae is a beautiful home, with great facilities. There's dedicated air conditioning in just about every room, high end appliances for everything you'd need, beautiful views of the bay and a great pool. We'd love to stay again.

Good spot I have stayed before. And will again.

We had 3 generations staying here when we cancelled our trip to Noosa due to Cyclone Alfred. We were very lucky to find this house 3 days before our holiday. It was exactly as described if not better. Everyone had an amazing time. There were 4 different families and each had their own space. Gran and Pop took the self contained beach house away from all the noise! There were high chairs for our two babies and so many beds that the cousins all swapped around and had combined sleepovers. The highlight was the pool and spa area. We were blessed with perfect weather over the Labour Day long weekend. We managed to squeeze our 7 cars onto the property.

Rob is a great host, he is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and provided fabulous communication. The house is shared but our area was private. The house is as presented in the photos. The garden is really lovely. We were there on a cold, rainy Victorian winter weekend and were very comfortable. The house has all the amenities that we needed for our stay. It is in a very quiet location.

Everything was great except for two things. Being in our late 60’s and early 70’ we found it really hard to get out of the pool. Need something to hold onto to. The only other thing was the en-suite toilet isn’t working. Otherwise it was excellent and we had a great week.

Whilst the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, the rest of the house was at times a bit grubby eg shelves in kitchen not wiped, stained carpets, broken pots in garden, discarded water bottles in sauna and pool area, cushioned seats by the pool unusable as were dirty & wet. For a house that sleeps 10 people, the dining table only sat 8. Kitchenware was limited, eg no large platters, serving dishes,minimal saucepans, dinner plates cracked.The property manager team sent multiple reminders leading up to the stay about what we could NOT do- which we knew from the outset, so the constant reminders didn’t give a positive welcome.

Great place - lots of open, well lit spaces. Fantastic to have a pool and a spa with outdoor pool house and lounges.3 modern TVs kept everyone happyGood internet, decent pod coffee machine, clean kitchen with good fridge and cooking gear.Property mum's very fast to respond to any questionsFew little things not perfect - like BBQ not great, matresses bit lumpy - but these are only minor details for a place that's great fun.
