We had the loveliest week at the home of Marie-Françoise & Jean-Pierre. They made us feel like instant friends & were always so ready to help us to enjoy our stay in Propriano. We spent two weeks in this villa in July. The villa is very comfortable with good living and dining areas both inside and outside. While the days were hot, the villa is situated to receive the sea breeze and we always found it to be cool and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen is well set up for self-catering. There are a couple of large supermarkets a short drive away from the villa (I recommend the Casino). Propriano has a good number of restaurants and bars for drinking and dining out and is an easy 10 minute walk down the hill from the villa. And while you do need to walk back up again, we didn't find it too difficult. WiFi worked well and there is a TV but we didn't watch it, preferring to spend our time looking at the great view of the town, the bay and mountains. The area has some good hikes, particularly in the area around Belvédère-Campomoro, Bilia and Portigliolo and also from Olmeto and a good walk from Porto Pollo to Plage de Cupabia and back. The pool was very refreshing at the end of a day's hiking. Fred is a very accommodating host and communication with him was quick and easy. I would recommend this rental for self catering holidays.
