60 Strawberry Hill offers a comfortable base for couples or families from which to explore the stunning beaches of St. Ives Bay and the wilds of west Cornwall beyond.

With three bedrooms (one double, one twin & one bunk), and cosy open plan living space, well equipped kitchen and downstairs bathroom, 60 Strawberry Hill offers comfortable accommodation for up to six guests.

Located within the leafy grounds of Tolroy Manor, 60 Strawberry Hill is a great property for those who enjoy the amenities of a holiday park setting within a great location for discovering all things cornish.

Downstairs -

This property has an additional benefit of French doors that open out onto a private patio area. Outside there is a table and chairs to sit and relax.

Our office is located at Riviere Towans, which is within a couple of miles of Tolroy Manor, and we are open 9am-5pm Monday - Saturday and 9am-1pm on Sundays. From maintenance to housekeeping, travel tips and directions, we're here to help! There is a 24 hour ‘out of hours' contact number for us too.

The Location
The property is located on the Tolroy Manor Holiday Park on the southern edge of Hayle. About a mile from Hayle beach and its three miles of golden sands. The park is just a short drive to Hayle town, with both St Ives and Penzance nearby. Ideally situated to access all of west Cornwall's attractions.

The beautiful West Cornwall countryside stretches beyond the manor grounds with quiet lanes, streams and hidden villages. Hayle itself is around 1 miles away, with its harbour, shops, restaurants and cafes. The beaches are accessible from Hayle, with parking at Harvey's Towans just beyond North Quay. Riviere Towans, Phillack Towans & Mexico Towans are all close by.

At Tolroy Manor you are a short drive from many well known places such as St. Ives, Penzance and Lands End. Many visitors enjoy not only the beautiful countryside and beaches but the picturesque fishing villages and historic sites West Cornwall has to offer.

For ocean enthusiasts, Hayle is a popular destination for surfers, kite surfers, paddle boarders and kayakers alike with great conditions for various watersports along St. Ives Bay.

For walkers, Hayle is located on a beautiful stretch of the South West Coastal path which runs from Hayle estuary all the way to Godrevy along the beach and dunes.

Cornwall has always been a favourite of artists, writers and film producers and its rugged coasts and beautiful coves have featured in numerous films and TV series most, recently the popular Poldark series.

Useful information- All the properties we manage are self-contained, self-catering. All the kitchen equipment you will require for your stay is provided in the property. All properties will include a microwave, TV, iron, heating to name but a few of the basics. A large number will also include washing machines but do check the property particulars above.

Whilst ideally situated for exploring West Cornwall, please note the on site facilities such as shop, club, bar, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts at Tolroy Manor may not be open during this period. Please be aware this is also the main time for property renovations and refurbishment.

Upon arriving we first noticed the smell, a musty, dated and off putting scent. We did our best to air the property out but it would not go away, and once back home all our items stunk of this smell. As requested we brought our own linen which we quickly regretted as the horrid smell is still lingering. My next point goes to the privacy, we except this place is a holiday park but we did not expect the neighbours walking round to our porch area, sitting in the way of the shared entrance up to the properties and hanging there used swimwear on the fence directly outside our door! It also does not help having the bathroom directly positioned opposite the main door in which they were peering into. Parking - the car park seemed to lack space to turn around and there was limited spaces available. If we had taken more than one vehicle we would have struggled to park them both. The facilities in the kitchen were to our surprise good and bad, there were tools and appliances we wouldn’t have used even if we had stayed a while longer. However there seemed to lack basic kitchenware such as a baking tray and frying pan. Whilst staying at the property we noticed the upstairs windows did not open fully, not only is this inconvenient in the summer heat it is also a fire hazard as no easy access to escape the property. The shower pressure is also worth a mention, we did not find it a big issue as we didn’t spend many days on the sand and both have relatively quick showers. However if we had spent more time on the beaches this would have been an issue as we would have had to spend a lot of time in the shower to clean off the sand. We did not use the tv that often, however when we did come to use it the remote would not work properly and it took us a good 15 minutes to turn it on. When we did happen to get it working the uncomfortable sofa - cushions falling off once sat on, did not make the evening pleasant. Upon inspection of the rooms we were left to question whether the place had been cleaned at all. The storage spaces had vast amount of dust and dirt in and the mirrors and sides still had makeup over from the previous visitors. We’re not the usual type to write a complaint as we both understand the amount of work that goes into hospitality. But after staying here we were left very disappointed and will not be returning in a hurry.
