Casa La Giuggiola is beautiful inside and out, with stunning outdoor and indoor facilities. On top of that, it has jaw-dropping sea views.

Casa La Giuggiola is located on the upper side of Sorrento, only 3 km away from the main square, Piazza Tasso. In less than ten minutes by car, you can reach the town's restaurants, shops, bars, supermarket and the beach. The house is the perfect accommodation if you are looking to spend your holiday in full relaxation and at the same time easy to visit the surroundings: Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Pompeii or Capri. From the private swimming pool and terrace, guests have the added bonus of being able to see Sorrento itself as well as Mount Vesuvius.

The house itself covers the ground floor of a two-storey villa that can accommodate up to 5 people. The upper floor is where the owner lives however, they have a separate entrance, and they will not invade your privacy. The private swimming pool (not shared with the owner) has a hydromassage function and is open from 15 April to the end of October. It is surrounded by sun loungers and also benefits from an outdoor shower. The terrace and garden have a stone barbecue, pizza oven and table and chairs. The terrace is reached from the living room which is big and bright. The living room has a fireplace, a TV, a table with six chairs and a double sofa bed. Here you will also find the kitchen equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and a coffee machine.

• Bathroom 1: equipped with a sink, a bidet and toilet. You reach the bathroom from the hallway.
• Bedroom 1: has one queen-size and one single bed. It is equipped with a TV and an air conditioning/heating unit. You reach the bedroom from the hallway.

• Bathroom 2: equipped with a shower, hairdryer and sink. You reach the bathroom from the hallway.

• If you like boat rides, you can jump on a hydrofoil from Sorrento and get to Capri which is under a 20 km journey.
• Pompeii is about 30 km away.
• Naples airport is only a 57 km drive away.

Casa La Giuggiola has an impressive location overlooking Sorrento. However, it also has many other benefits to offer guests during their stays:

• It is both air conditioned and heated (both are included in the rental price) so visiting out of the peak summer months is possible.
• Sorrento does get very busy during the Summer, but it is full of character and there is always something to do.

Sorrento Getaway

Beautiful views and beautiful home. We had a car and parked at a garage just outside of the downtown, which was reasonable. Clean, spacious and quiet.

Beautiful but very remote

The property is perfect, and truly the picture of Italy. Transportation is a must, it is removed from everything and finding transportation was a challenge. We did find Sorrento Private Limo, which was very reliable, but got expensive.

Sorrento-ly cow the views are incredible!

We had such an amazing time at Villa Giuggiola in Sorrento. The property was just as described, down to the last detail. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals, which is good because getting to and from the town center is not easy. I highly recommend renting either a scooter or car. You can walk, but the road is quite long and steep. We opted to hire a taxi, which was about 30 euros for each trip up or down. The check-in was easy, and the communication was fantastic. We regularly messaged the property manager via WhatsApp, and if we had any issues, the owner was available to assist. But the view from the villa more than made up for this inconvenience. We swam in the pool every day while looking at Vesuvius, and watched the incredible sunsets over the Gulf of Napoli. Sorrento is an amazing location on it's own, but the villa made it even more special. We would definitely visit this property again.

Even more beautiful than expected

The apartment, garden areas and views were absolutely beautiful. Staying here was the best way to get the restaurants, shopping and activities in Sorrento while having a peaceful place to relax at the end of the day. We especially loved the panoramic view while listening to the church bells in the town below. The accommodations themselves were exactly as described, if not better. The only slight downside was getting taxis to find the location, but it was only a minor issue. We would absolutely stay here again!

Astounding Views Excellent Service

The view that show up in the pictures for the property dont do this place justice, we spent a good bit of our time just staring out and sitting outside. The house was clean and fully acquainted for all our needs, Roberta was super helpful in setting us up with a lemon and oil tour which is well worth the money if you want to do it and the homeowner gave us the contact of a taxi driver who could come get us from the house and bring us in to town when we needed which was super helpful! Absolutely loved our stay here!
