Absolutely amazing apartment

This apartment is absolutely amazing! There were 6 of us so we rented both apartments - which becomes one large apartment. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and with plenty room for suitcases and have lots of options for couples or singles. There are three toilets, two bathrooms and two kitchens which were great for a bigger group. The two balconies have fantastic views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. The living area was spacious and opens to one of the balconies. The furniture is beautiful - you feel like you are living in a very well appointed home! The location in Sorrento is very handy to everything - only 5 minutes to the train station and little more to the main square and beaches. Elena, the owner, is absolutely wonderful and incredibly hospitable. She met us at the train station and transported our 6 bags, and then returned to take us back when we left. She generously left coffee, tea, snacks, croissants - as well as oil, pasta etc, so cooking in the apartment was easy. In fact the kitchens have everything you need. Elena also provided clothes detergent for the laundry, as well as toiletries etc etc. Which is great when you are travelling and staying in apartments as you really don't want to be buying this sort of stuff every time you move elsewhere. I would definitely recommend both or either of these apartments - while the photos are accurate - it is actually much better than it looks in them! We didn't want to leave and would love to come back someday, but it it's a long way from New Zealand!

Spacious, comfortable, convenient with view

Vittorio was very helpful and communicative. He picked us up from the station and gave us a tour of Sorrento. The apartment was in a wonderful location, with glorious views and very convenient to the city centre. The apartment was spacious and very comfortably appointed. Comfortable bed. Vittorio went out of his way to make our stay memorsble and to answer all our questions. His final act of kindness was to meet us at Napoli Centrale with a gift of delicious cakes.

spacious and spic n span

Vittorio met us at the apt and gave us a thorough walk-thru regarding appliances and the security features. the wrap-around veranda and general spaciousness of the apt are fantastic...sunrise and sunset over the sea and the light on Vesuvius are magical! Elena and Vittorio are available and very helpful with highlights of the area and their personal favorites. It's a safe neighborhood and convenient to everything.

Beautiful in Sorrento

We arrived way to early and was cheerfully met by the lovely owner of this beautiful apartment in Sorrento,Elena. First thing this apartment is second to none and better then described. Beautiful balcony, clean spacious with all the amenities for cooking a good Italian dinner or breakfast. Second, this apartment is in a very convenient location for transportation to Pompei,Naples, Poitano or Amalfi. Also it is short walk to all the sites ,the center of Sorrento and great restaurants. Elena was extremely helpful in explaining the apartment ,how to get around Sorrento and the best places to eat dinner, just a pizza or sweets. I would also like to thank Vittorio for his help getting us on our way to our next stop in Positano. Grazie Mille Elena & Vitorio for a wonderful apartment in Sorrento, Hope to return some day Alex & Susan

Sorrento made all the more enjoyable

Stay period from the 21st July to the 31st July 2015. We are a middle aged couple who have stayed in Sorrento before but only in Hotels so we were not sure what to expect but from day one my wife and I knew that we had chosen the right stay in Sorrento Italy. Vittorio our host was in contact with us before we arrived and once we were at the Sorrento Bus Station he arrived to pick us up and help with our luggage. He drove us to the apartment which is within walking distance from the centre of Sorrento (Piazzo Tasso) and also convenient to all transport. Vittorio and Elena his wife have two apartments and as we are just a couple we chose the smaller one but with a larger corner balcony. It has one bathroom with shower , a kitchen ,one large bedroom, a dining and a family room with sofa beds if required but as you enter the family room you are presented with the fantastic view of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius , Isle of Capri and Naples. The balcony was very well used by us and has cushioned outdoor chairs and table and a small clothes line to one side. The apartment was better than we had hoped for, clean and stocked with pots, pans, plates , condiments, cleaning products etc. There is a good size fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven, vacuum cleaner three Airconditioners and more. There is also a printer if needed. Vittorio was always available for us when required and called back promptly when we left a message. He is polite and helpful and makes you feel welcome from day one. Sometimes there is a little noise from scooters and traffic from the streets below but nothing that bothered us too much as once the large glass sliding door is closed it is hardly noticeable but hey your in Italy and we think it's just part of the experience. We have recommended it to our families all ready and we will be definitely staying at this apartment again. Thank you again Vittorio and Elena.

Perfect place to stay on the Amalfi Coast

My husband and I stayed in Sorrento during our week on the Amalfi Coast. The apartment was located on the 2nd floor and looks out over the Mediterranean. The view is incredible and the location perfect! We were within walking distance to the marinas and the square with all the restaurants, bars and shopping. The check in/out was very easy and convenient. The apartment was spacious and clean and just right for the 2 of us. It was well stocked with all that we needed. Elena was very responsive and so incredibly helpful in her recommendations. She connected us with Nunzio, who was a fabulous driver and guide. He picked us up from the airport in Naples, took us on a day trip to the other towns and brought us back to the airport. I would highly recommend his service. Elena also arranged a wonderful cooking class for us right across the street from our apartment in a lovely greenhouse! Elena was also helpful with restaurant suggestions. We had a wonderful stay in Elena's property and found Sorrento to be the perfect location for our visit to the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Apartment & Host

I spent a lovely week at this beautiful and comfortable apartment. Location could not be beat. I've stayed in a lot of rentals in Europe & this one provided for all of my needs plus had detailed instructions for working the washing machine (usually I'm using Google translate). Elena went out of her way to bring me an extra pillow topper since I had injured my back a week before my trip. I do not think you could find a more accommodating or lovely host! I will definitely be spending more time at this apartment for future travels.

A great Sorrento apartment in the best location.

It’s important when selecting a holiday apartment to find a genuine “Italian” one. This apartment is such and the owner Elena has provided all you could need for a very pleasant stay. Located a 10 min walk from the main square , it’s in quiet area but close to bars and restaurants with local pricing - unlike those in the “tourist” area where prices can be considerably more. Sorrento is the place to stay for access to Positano,Amalfi,Capri by ferry and Pompei , Vesuvius by train. The view from the large balcony is of Vesuvius , but as this is facing north , you won’t get the sunshine if visiting later in the year. No probs really as you want to out and about seeing things and visiting sites. We really enjoyed our stay .

It honestly doesn’t get better than this!

Oh what a gem of an apartment! We loved absolutely everything about it. The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful views of Vesuvius from our balcony and were within walking distance from everything we wanted to see or do. Just across the street was the most wonderful lemon grove — with tours, cooking classes and a most delightful shop and natural space that was so beautiful it brought us to tears. The apartment is appointed with everything you could possibly want or need, and just so beautiful that it was as much a joy to stay inside as it was to go out and explore. I reached out to Elena for advice on public transportation options to Pompeii, and she went above and beyond to provide me with train schedules, instructions, suggestions, etc. She was incredibly responsive. We will definitely be returning to Sorrento, but next time we’ll stay more than 3 days so that we can take advantage of so much more that the city has to offer. On the very top of our list will be to book Elena’s apartment again! Glorious apartment and a wonderful host!

Lovely view apartment

We had such a wonderful stay here. The view and patio were fantastic. The AC worked great and it was in the 90s when we stayed here. The washer was excellent and the kitchen was well stocked. We came with a car and parking was a bit time consuming, but everything was within easy walking distance. You definitely can hear your neighbors as there is just a simple locked door between the two units. We were fortunate to have a family with young children next door, so they went to bed early and we were careful to be quiet in the later hours. Would recommend and would stay here again. Quite a peaceful place in a busy town.

Excellent Host and Beautiful View

This property was absolutely beautiful. The host made sure everything was perfect. Very clean and attention to detail to the entire place. We had a great stay and we will be back. We made an incredible Italian dinner and watched the beautiful view from the balcony!

Almost Perfect

The apartment, layout and amenities were amazing. Our check-in host was very thorough and helpful. The location was perfect. The views were amazing. I did not realize that the walls were so thin or the apartment was divided in half we could hear others through the hallway and bedroom wall. This kept us up and I had to sleep on the couch two nights as they arrived at 10:30 at night and went to bed after midnight.

Terrific Stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Elena was a terrific host-she communicated very well with us from the start, made great recommendations and reservations for us, met us at her lovely apartment (in an terrific location) upon arrival, and made us feel very welcome. She gave us the contact of a terrific driver we used 3 days (Nunzio Cesarano). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very convenient with nice bay view

Elena was helpful with my many questions, booked dinner reservations and a lemon tour for us, and her recommended driver Mr. Nunzio Cesarano was a terrific driver and gentleman. We used his service to and from Naples and for a very comfortable Amalfi coast tour day. He booked lunch for us at a beautiful restaurant by the sea in Amalfi and his smooth and slow driving on the turns eased all of my nerves. The shower at the apartment is very small. We were able to cook and have two kids on cot/sofa in the main living room. The wrap-arou d balcony was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Easy walk around the corner to lovely view of the whole bay, easy walk to the Corso Italia and shops. Nice Bar Pizzetta for breakfast and little market. Across the street from La Limonaia lemon grove and restaurant, and next to a lemon nursery whose owner took us on a tour of a nearby historic 16-acre lemon farm. About 20 minute drive to the port for Capri boat tour.

Great apartment

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment! Elena helped us manage transport from Naples and Ms. Irma was helpful showing us the apartment details at check in. The restaurant at the Lemon Farm across the street is not to miss! Beautiful setting and great food. And the walk to the city center was quick, but nice to enjoy our quiet balcony overlooking the bay.

Can’t go wrong!

Loved this place! So close to basically everything. Depending how fast you walk, you are within 10-15 minutes of anywhere in Sorrento. We walked every where except trip to Herculaneum and Amalfi Coast. This was where the private driver, Nunzio, came in handy. He was as wonderful and knows all the right people to get you great dining in Naples and the Amalfi Coast. The recommendation I have, which I loved as I felt a part of the community, was the dryer is a clothes dryer rack that’s outdoors. Everything dried fast! Recommend the bar around the corner for coffee on Corsa Italia…Bar Ciokochris. It’s amazing for breakfast. The bar, literally across the street, typically asked for cash. Ok, I digress. If you need a place in Sorrento. You won’t go wrong with the view, the amenities, the ability to contact them any time with questions, and willing to offer suggestions on where to go!!

Wonderful host, beautiful space!

We had such a wonderful experience staying here for our honeymoon! Check in was quick and easy. The host is incredible helpful; able and willing to help set up fun events, activities, transportation, etc for your time in Sorrento. The house was well kept and had absolutely everything we needed. The location was ideal - a quick walk from the train station, close to town center, and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Highly recommwnd this space and this gracious host.

Better than the listing!

This is a lovely apartment with everything you need. Check in was easy, Irma was there to greet us. We speak no Italian and she spoke very little English but we were still able to go through everything in the apartment. They had everything including universal adapters. We had our own but it was nice to have extras. The view was amazing and it was nice to sit on the balcony and watch the dawn and boat traffic while admiring Mt. Vesuvius. Having a bath and a half was wonderful and there is a full, completely stocked kitchen. We didn't cook but it was nice to have for restaurant leftovers, plenty of plates for breakfast and we did several loads of laundry that saved us from going to a local laundromat. The listing included a dryer but that was two drying racks. This is a very modern apartment in a quiet neighborhood that was an easy 10-15 minute walk to the city center but there was several good restaurants and cafe's in the neighborhood. The apartment is also just a couple of blocks from Corso Italia, the main street to the city center. The cafe' across the street typically opens at 7:30 a.m. for warm croissants and coffee. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous Apartment, Fabulous Sorrento

Apartment was as beautiful as listing suggests, but even more spacious. The bedroom in particular is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Bed extremely comfortable! Position of the property perfect - just off the main drag, but only 5 mins from the station and a pleasant walk to the main square and the ports. Our host, Elena, was very friendly and keen to help in any way during our stay if needed. All in all a wonderful stay in a wonderful town.

Sorrento Paradise!!

Just left after 4 nights here and had a fantastic experience!! The check-in process was easy and seamless, The place had everything we need for a very comfortable stay, including an outdoor veranda with the fantastic view of the bay. Our host was very responsive and gave us great recommendations in Sorrento and the surrounding area, including a driver who took us on an eight hour tour. we will definitely be back soon!!
