When staying anywhere on holiday the number one priority is location. Absolutely vital that the location is safe, located in a quality residential area and is well served by good restaurants with no rowdy bars or subject to groups of drunken holidaymakers or locals.

Vila Rosal apartments are high quality 2 bedroom apartments located in a beautiful, peaceful and secluded setting. Arguably the finest location in the Algarve being only 5 minutes walk from the new exclusive W Residences (Marriot Group). This is a new 7 star Hotel, which also has apartments costing up to £2.9M. Chosen by Marriot for their only 7 star hotel in Portugal is a good indicator of the quality and standard of the nearby location.

Also, only 5 minutes walk to Villa Serena, owned by the tennis player Serena Williams; Serena would not buy here unless it was in a top quality area. There are also a number of other "celebrities", who own property in the area.

This 2 bedroom gorgeous apartment is located in the luxury condominium development known as Vila Rosal.

We offer 5 apartments in this development. All are very similar with top quality furnishings. Without doubt one of the most fabulous places to holiday in the Algarve and in a really top, high class area.

As stated It is a truly outstanding property in a beautiful and peaceful setting, situated well away from the noisy tourist areas. Only 2 minutes drive to the gorgeous beaches close to Albufeira, and only 5 minutes drive to the Old Town or the New Town (The "Strip" as it is sometime known). It is only 10 minutes drive to Guia town centre, (Guia is a small town with numerous shops, restaurants and cafes, oh and Cliff Richard of course).

The apartment is situated to the west of Albufeira in a quiet residential area. You can walk into Albufeira, via the Albufeira Marina, in around 20 to 25 minutes. There is a bus stop directly outside the apartment and taxis are plentiful, with a taxi rank close by.

The location is even more prestigious due to it's close proximity to many quality local restaurants and bars. There is easy access to the wonderful beaches of Sao Raphael, Praia Grande and others within a 10 minute walk, or a 2 minute drive.

There is a small supermarket a few minutes walk away. The famous Algarve Shopping Centre is only a 15 minute drive.

There is easy access to the A22 motorway and the EN125; driving time to Faro airport is 30 to 35 minutes with Vilamoura only 20 to 25 minutes drive away.

One of the unique features of this apartment is the lovely private balcony with a barbecue with views over Sesmarias to the sea.

Unusually, there is a fabulous brick built barbecue on the balcony and dining area so you can enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family without having to leave the apartment.

The apartment is fully air conditioned. Fully furnished to a very high standard with quality furniture, beds, linen, towels and furnishings etc.

There is a large comfortable lounge and dining room, for those that want to eat in, with a very large balcony and terrace area overlooking the pool with views to the sea (there is of course the barbecue on the terrace).

There is satellite TV with the usual British channels, a DVD player and stylish sofa, chairs etc.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would expect i.e. integrated appliances, fridge / freezer, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, and dishwasher.

The master bedroom has a double bed with patio doors opening on to the terrace with views across Sesmarias to the sea. There is a fitted wardrobe with full en suite facilities. The other bedroom (same size as the master bedroom) can either be a double or twin, with french doors to a Parisian balcony. This second bedroom can access the full bathroom immediately outside the bedroom door.

Up to two children can be accommodated on fold up beds if required. Cots and High Chairs can be supplied.

The apartments are well looked after as are the garden areas and pool. The infinity pool is very large with a small children’s pool next to it. The terrace / pool area is also very large so no fighting for a sun bed here.

For the sporting ones among you, there are two tennis courts for use by guests only; local booking arrangements apply and at no cost.

This apartment is absolutely perfect for adults and children of all ages although supervision is of course required on the terraces and in the pool area.

We pride ourselves on the service we provide as we want to give a service we would expect for our own holiday. Included in the service are the local Villa Managers, Nuno and Rogerio. Often property owners ask guests to arrive at a property in a country perhaps never visited before, even late at night after a long flight, and a key is under the mat or in a security box; we think is is awful. You will be met by Nuno or Rogerio and given a tour of the apartment to ensure you know everything you need to know. You will be provided with their contact details before arrival; this way you have a point of contact if you get lost, experience delays or just need some comfort to find your way around.

You will not be disappointed in choosing this apartment for your holiday. It is indeed a perfect location and although hiring a car is great to travel around a car is not essential as everything is close at hand.

Vi hadde ferieboligen i 10 dager. Leiligheten hadde noe lavere standard en vi forventet. Sengene var steinharde og putene var elendige…. Viftene til AC var montert uten for masterbedroom og ulte litt mye for å kunne sovne til. Det var kun et håndhåndkle, et dusjhåndkle og et badehåndkle- det var litt dårlig at vi måtte bruke tid på å vaske håndkle- alle håndkleren ble byttet dag 6- men ikke badehåndklene. En lys og fin leilighet, med to soverom og to bad. Vi lagde ikke mat, kun brødmat på kjøkkenet. Beliggenheten var bra, bare en kort spasertur til stranden og steder å spise. Det var et minimarked, med ferske brød fra kl 08:00. Med Uber inn til Albufeira tok det kun noen minutter og her var det alt av det man trenger i en by!

Great Apartment, perfect location, huge pool and close to fantastic beaches.
We had a fantastic stay in Kens apartment. Everything was as described. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood very close to downtown Albufeira and several beaches (Praia do Castelo is great - never overcrowded and with a very nice restaurant). Communication with Ken was always a pleasure, all question where answered extremely fast and we got all information we needed well in advance. Checkin/Checkout was very smooth and local support from Nuno was great . If you are traveling with kids - as we did - they will love the huge pool and the relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of space and nice people. Well equipped kitchen, (very) fast internet and a barbecue at the private balcony (with large table and chairs). A car is not necessary, you can simply call an Uber which is usually available within five minutes or less. Several restaurants and mini markets are in walking distance (less than 10 minutes), larger super markets can be reached within 3-5 minute with a car/Uber. If you are looking for fresh fish for your barbecue try the Hipermarket in Algarve Shopping Center - they have everything you need (and more). For us the apartment was a perfect match and we will return the next time we are going to Algarve/Albufeira. Thank you!

Nice apartment, excellent support & management plus great location.
The booking support was excellent with great information. The apartment is nice & modern, with all the appliances that you require. Lovely balcony and excellent bbq facilities. Only slight negative was that the cleaners didn't turn up when expected and we had to contact the manager, they did come but at 5.00pm which wasn't really convinient, also the apartment above had dogs which could be noisy at certain times. The complex was excellent, very clean with a great pool.

Great family holiday
Lovely apartment with everything you need for a great holiday. Fabulous pool with lots of beds, kids loved it. Apartment situated within walking distance of several excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches. Would definitely visit again if we return to the Algarve.

I worked in Financial services as the Compliance & Risk Director for a major national Independent Financial Adviser, but now retired. Yvonne was an office manager with an estate agent, previously with a major high street bank, IBM and also now retired.

We bought our first apartment, as it happens in this same development at Villa Rosal 17 years ago, so we know this apartment and the area inside out.

In 2009 we sold the apartment and bought a villa close to the Vila Rosal apartments, where we now live for 7 or 8 months each year

If like us you want peace and quiet but close to everything then this apartment really does provide it.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is in a quiet location, so away from the noisy tourist areas. There is an abundance of restaurants and bars within walking distance and you can walk into Albufeira (25 minutes via the Albufeira Marina).

If you don't want to hire a car then everything is on the doorstep but taxis and buses pose no problem. Airport transfers can be arranged if you wish.

What makes this property unique

Peace and quiet in a top quality apartment without having to put up with the noise of living in a tourist area.

It is secure and safe.

We have a local villa manager that will meet you and take you to the apartment. He will also deal with any problems, arrange maid service, change of bed linen etc. and also book any excursions or golf etc. He is only a call away.

Unlike some other apartments the pool is very large and there is loads of patio space as well as the private terrace.
