With breathtaking views, our spacious apartment is located in an unspoilt little gem that is Grange over Sands. You can explore the South Lakes area easily, take a Cross Bay Walk, dine out in Cartmel & then relax in a bath with glass of wine. Our East Bank apartment will make you feel at home. The accommodation is self-catering with a large kitchen and living space. Spacious two bedrooms will accommodate four people and outside courtyard space will allow quiet escape.
The space
The apartment has a typical victorian spacious dimensions. Modern but sympathetic to its origin. Beautiful views from the bay windows.
Cozy bedrooms which provide access onto the backyard for morning coffee in the sun! Master bedroom with king size bed and large en-suite with bath, walk in shower and double sink vanity unit. Second bedroom with two single beds that can be joined for a single king size bed with smaller but beautifully finished bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen has a range master cooker, fridge freezer and dining table. Living space with sofa and comfy chairs, TV and small table in the bay for a game of cards. The apartment looks out onto the front garden with fabulous views of the Morecambe Bay.
The East Bank Apartment is set in stunning Grange-over-Sands and located about a 5minutes walk to central Grange and a 10 minute walk to the station, 5 min drive to Cartmel.
Guest access
Please note that disabled access isn't possible as there are steps up to the apartment. No pets are allowed but please see out Garden Apartment if you are planning to visit with a furry friend.
Interaction with guests
We always try to be there for your arrival. However, in the rare occasions we can not be there to meet you we will make arrangements for leaving the key.
We are living nearby should you require any help or have any questions. We are always happy to assist, but we would prefer to give you space, so that you can enjoy and relax during your visit.
Other things to note
- Dogs are not allowed in East Bank Apartment, but if you are trying to find a perfect place for 2 plus a furry friend we have also Garden Apartment available and we would be happy to welcome you there.
- Children aren't allowed but please message us if you are planning to come with small baby or teenager - we may consider on individual bases.
The East Bank Apartment is located on a residential street. It is a quiet, green and friendly location. The apartment is a 5min walk down to the central town area and shops. There are woods to the top of the road with viewing point and also you can walk to Hampsfell from the apartment. The woods are entered at the top of the road, and Hampsfell Hill is around a 30minute walk to the top from the apartment.
Getting around
Grange can be explored on foot from the apartment. For the wider area we would recommend a car but public transport is also available. Buses and trains can be used however cars are recommended for convenience. We are just few min drive from village of Cartmel where you will find an amazing choice of pubs and restaurants. Grange is also a 10 min drive to the southern end of Lake Windermere, where you will find a nice Fell Foot Park. There is also an excellent choice of country pubs in the local area.
