The apartment is located in the oldest part of Salerno, on a small side street close to the seafront, just a stone's throw from St. Matthew's Cathedral. A short walk through town takes you to the main shopping and eating areas. A plethora of local restaurants for every budget and palate, offering some of the best locally sourced food and drink in Italy.
A Christmas tree and a Christmas tree from the end of January, the Christmas lights and market provide an enchanting backdrop for a winter getaway. The apartment is within walking distance of the central train station, local bus stops and ferry terminals for Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Palinuro. The archeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Paestum are also a short bus / train ride away from Naples International Airport.
The apartment is equipped with central heating, air conditioning, flat screen TV, fridge / freezer, kettle and conventional and microwave ovens. Towels and bedding are provided. It has twin beds and a foldaway guest bed.
The owners speak fluent and will provide local maps, guides and tourist information.
