Nestled in a peaceful and secluded area, this cosy cottage makes the perfect bolt-hole for couples to enjoy a rural escape.. Step to entrance.
All on the ground floor.
Open plan living space: With wooden floor.
Living area: With 24" Sky TV (basic package), DVD player and patio doors leading to courtyard.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Utility room: With dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Bedroom: With zip and link super kingsize bed (can be twin beds on request) and en-suite with shower over spa bath, and toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Enclosed courtyard with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Quietly tucked away at the end of a ¾ mile farm track, The Pigsty is a perfect, detached cosy retreat for couples, within the grounds of the owners’ former farmhouse. Surrounded by 6 acres of mainly mature woodland and gardens, it boasts its own secluded and enclosed courtyard garden which is full of birdsong as there are always feeders in the trees which are visited by many different birds including woodpeckers (watching the birds is always very popular with visitors). The superb spa bath is perfect for relaxing in after exploring the beautiful island of Anglesey.
The owners offer a very warm welcome, with a welcome tea tray and homemade cakes on arrival as well as excellent advice on places to visit. The Pigsty is also close to many cycle tracks, as well as others found across Anglesey. Within easy reach are beautiful sandy beaches, as well as a host of visitor attractions including Beaumaris Castle, a racing circuit and lovely boat rides to watch puffins or go fishing. Dotted with prehistoric monuments and with its entire coastline a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Anglesey is a paradise for walkers and birdwatchers alike. Day trips to Dublin are easily accessible from the port of Holyhead, whilst a myriad of outdoor pursuits and dramatic mountain scenery are a short drive away on the mainland in the Snowdonia National Park. Beach 6½ miles. Shop 3½ miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
