Super clean condo. Could use more lighting. Has plenty of towels. People live upstairs and could hear them stomping around early in the mornings. Great location.
Property is beautiful. Well stocked kitchen to get us started. Linens and towels were provided and great quality. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan which we appreciated. Jeff was a great host!
We had a wonderful time! Cannot say enough about how terrific this property was! The place was impeccably clean! The condo was very spacious and fit everyone comfortably. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen, dining and living rooms offered plenty of room for hanging out and enjoying family time together. The location was great just a few blocks to restaurants, stores, ice cream shop, etc. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.Thank you Jeff for a great week!
Beautiful and distinctive condo, elegantly decorated and incredibly comfortable. Host Jeffrey was so welcoming and responsive. Location simply cannot be beat! We will be back!
Always a great time staying in this lovely 4 bedroom condo. Close to shops and great restaurants. Jeff is a great host and is always available. Will book again next year for another Girls weekend!
Fabulous! Rooms were beautiful, beds extremely comfortable, linens of exquisite quality, kitchen well equipped, breakfast provided. Could not have asked for more.
Just excellent.
Thank you Jeff!
This is a beautiful property with an extremely gracious host. High ceilings, lovely original hardwood floors, high quality furniture and linens, an easy walk to Lewes and a quick drive (or longer walk) to the beach. Slept 7 adults comfortably. Spacious living room with lots of seating perfect for hanging out in the evening. Also a great little patio area outdoors. Our host provided breakfast bread and bagels, juice, milk, coffee, fruit, toiletries in the bathrooms, even a wonderful selection of books to borrow. We rented it for a bachelorette long weekend. I would definitely stay here again. We had a great time.

Well worth the price - beautiful - enormous - friendly, helpful owner
We had a wonderful stay! The unit is beautiful with gorgeous furnishings and artwork. There was a lot of space for us to spread out. There is a little outdoor space on the deck, which suited us perfectly for afternoon snacks and cocktails. The owners thoughtfully left us an amazing spread of fresh fruit, bagels, coffee, raisin bread, homemade granola, and a refrigerator stocked with drinks, milk, yogurt, juice, bottled water, even beer - and at the same time, they supported the local businesses: beer from the local brewery, bread and bagels from the local bakery, coffee from the local roaster, orchids from the local florist.
The unit was immaculately clean. The towels were plush. The beds were all extremely comfortable. We were very pleased that the owners thoughtfully left great bath products. Everything down to the beach towels were impeccable.
About a 1 minute walk to downtown Lewes restaurants and shops. We easily parked the car and walked everywhere our entire stay!
We will definitely be returning next summer.

Excellent location and spacious apartment
We were a family of six adults visiting Lewes for a family wedding. We stayed in the historic district in a converted church for six nights. We were welcomed by the owner with provisions of fresh fruit, juice, bagels, coffee, sodas, etc. The apartment is spacious, well appointed and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s a short walk to good restaurants and unique shops in Lewes and within a ten minute drive to Lewes Beach with ample metered parking. Beach towels and chairs are provided for convenience.
I recommend attention to cleaning because on the day we arrived I discovered the kitchen floor tiles were filthy. I spilled water next to the refrigerator and immediately wiped the area with a wad of white paper towels and was disgusted with the black dirt I removed from the kitchen floor. The floor had not been washed between occupants. This is unacceptable since a cleaning fee is imposed on all guests who rent property with VRBO.
We regret that our two visitors from Ireland occupied the bedroom with a side door. During the first night they woke with large bites/welts from mosquitoes. We bought cans of repellant and sprayed the bedroom heavily before bedtime but they woke subsequent nights with more welts/bites. The apartment is on the ground floor and while the outdoor garden access is pretty, it’s shaded by trees and shrubs so that during the summer season of high humidity it’s a perfect habitat for mosquitoes. We conclude that mosquitoes entered through slits/openings in the door and/or windows. Fortunately, there was a 4th twin bedroom we were not using and for their last two nights they moved and slept there and were not bitten. We enjoyed our visit to Lewes but we will not return in summertime.
The condo is the first floor of a renovated church and one of the charms of the building is the remnants of that church--huge windows and interesting details. Jeff was completely accommodating and helpful and we loved our stay. It's easy walking to downtown Lewes and very close to the beach. There are four large bedrooms and welcoming, efficient kitchen-living-dining areas plus a nice deck outside. We hope to stay here again. Great place.
Thus rental was spotless, comfortable and convenient. A short walk to the little shopping area of Lewes DE with great shops and restaurants. A short drive to Henlopen State Park for bike ride or hike. Watch the Ferry go out to Cape May NJ. Our host Jeffrey met us and gave us a quick tour and even had breakfast items to get us started. I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and this is most definitely a 5 start!
We had a great stay at this condo with a great walkable location. Jeffrey made our stay fantastic when we started out with breakfast items he had for us. What a wonderful time, thank yiu Jeffrey!
A beautiful property, tastefully decorated and spotless, in an ideal location--right in town on a quiet street. We also appreciated that Jeffrey met us at the property and that he had gotten us some groceries that morning. We will certainly stay again.
This is the third summer my husband and I booked this apartment, originally chosen because it has plenty of space for our children and grandchildren, who stayed with us the first two times. We can really spread out there—Plenty of bedrooms with great beds and a very spacious living room, full dining room with big table, and modern eat-in kitchen. The host takes care of many little details or enjoying your stay—right down to beach towels! We can walk two blocks to the small Main Street, marina and town parks, or drive five to ten minutes to beaches. We love this place!
We had a great stay in this property. It was clean and much larger than it appears in the photos. The manager, Jeff, was wonderful -- so generous and responsive! He even stocked the fridge and pantry with a few things for our first breakfast in town. We loved walking the couple blocks into "downtown" Lewes. My family would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Wow! What a beautiful home. Beautifully furnished and comfortable, Jeffrey’s home is inviting. The home is pristine, the beds comfortable. Jeffrey goes above and beyond by welcoming you with fresh items stocked for a continental breakfast - we really appreciated this - didn’t need to run out to the store! Jeffrey is quick to respond and a true professional. The location is right in town - walking distance to everything. You will love this house!!! Thanks, Jeff for opening your home to us!!
We had a great time at the house on mulberry street. It was clean and spacious with big bathrooms. The owner Jeff was a great host and easy to communicate with. We loved going to Lewes beach, but also enjoyed that other beaches were a short driving distance. We felt safe and comfortable there!
This is a great place and in awesome location, and Jeff is a wonderful host. I accidentally left a special item at the place when we left, and Jeff even went to the effort to package it up and mail it back to me! Would definitely recommend - Lewes is a quaint town and the beach is easily accessible.

Why they chose this property
This property is very nice because of it's location on Mulberry Street in the historic district of Lewes and it's close walking proximity to the downtown business streets as well as the Lewes Rehoboth Canal.
What makes this property unique
Mulberry in Lewes is unique because it is a first floor condominium (only three steps to enter). It has high ceilings with large spacious rooms. You will not feel claustrophobic or cramped. It's proximity to town and many activities is of course a huge asset. It has been in my family for twenty years, as it is the place my parents chose to retire.
