Our 3-bedroom house sleeps 8 people and is part of a small complex of white washed, typical Spanish holiday homes, situated just 100 metres from the Mar Menor beach in el Zoco, km 4, La Manga. And equally, just a few minutes walk from the Mediterranean beach across the road. The area is perfect for families wanting to be close to the beach but also being able to go out to eat, shop, visit markets etc without having to use a car.
The house has 2 floors and a private garage below as well as a private, south facing garden with barbecue and outside furniture.
The ground floor consists of: private entrance from the pedestrian walk way belonging to the complex, a hall leading to a separate kitchen and laundry area, a bathroom and a large living-dining room with sliding glass doors out to the patio with a roof for shade and then the private garden, perfect for sunbathing, barbecuing and eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with a/c (with heating option for winter stays), and built in wardrobes as well as another bathroom. The situation of the complex next to el Zoco is perfect as you do not need a car for anything. Easy to come and go to the beach and to go out for a meal in the evening without having to plan or book taxis. Children can easily fall asleep in the buggy and be rolled home after dinner. The beaches on both sides of the house are beautiful and sandy and there is a tennis club next to the garden, for anyone wanting to do some sports.

About the host

I am Swedish, but live in La Manga with my English husband and our 3 children. We first came here on holiday in 2001 and fell in love with the area. After having bought our first apartment in Aldeas de Taray Club in 2002, we then bought a terraced house on the same complex and finally moved here in 2005. We bought the house in Zoco in 2007 and lived there until our third son was born in 2010. Since then we have been renting it out to holiday makers and long term winter visitors. I divide my time between looking after our apartments and guests and enjoying time with family and friends in this gorgeous place by the 2 seas.
Why they chose this property
The closeness to the beach by Mar Menor and also just a few minutes walk from the Mediterranean. The private, south facing garden perfect for sunbathing, BBQs, breakfast, lunch, dinner, play area for children and even good for dogs as there is a wall around it. The lovely neighbourhood and being so close to everything from shops and bars to gym, tennis club, water sports and outdoor fun parks.

The garden! Not many places in La Manga have their own private garden. A double garage below the house. And the area, in between 2 seas.
