Studio Guest house on a 1.5 acre fenced property

This guest house / studio apartment is on our fenced property close to Mesa, US-60 and Loop 202. The building is separate from the main house. Main house is not part of this listing. Distance between the 2 buildings is 44 feet. We can easily be reached.

Please park on the gravel at the left side of the garage.

This is not a one bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom but a small studio with a pantry kitchen and a queen size bed. Pantry kitchen features a countertop stove with 2 burners, a Keurig capsule coffee machine, microwave, mini oven and an espresso machine. Keep in mind that this is not a full kitchen and not suitable for large meals. Appliances can only be used individually since they are on a single 20 amp breaker. Small 110 volt washer-dryer combo in the bathroom. This machine is for small loads only. Dryer takes more time than a regular 220 volt model. This machine is a little bit noisy. Quiet Samsung refrigerator with icemaker. This place is very quiet, safe and private. High speed internet. TV with local channels. No cable TV but there is a Voice controlled Roku Express+ (Smart TV). Not suitable for pets. Since some guests are allergic to animal hair, we don’t make exceptions.

Guests receive gate opener and the key upon arrival. Guests will be responsible for lost key or lost gate opener - if key or gate opener is not returned. Guest agrees to pay $45,- for a new lockset (for the main door and the security door) if he/ she loses the key. Guest will be billed $ 50,- if the gate opener is not returned. This includes the cost of installing new locks and reprogramming the gate opener. This is for our safety and the safety of other guests. We don't want any guns / firearms on our property. Guest will not carry any firearms on the property and advise visitors of our firearms policy. Absolutely no smoking inside the studio but smoking is ok on the patio or anywhere outside.

GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR POTENTIAL INTERNATIONAL CARD SURCHARGE IF USING AN INTERNATIONAL DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD.

Comfortable Lil Place!

The cottage at this property is very nice. The overall property is a work in progress though. We wish Suki & Steve well as they refurbish this little AZ oasis. Our friend was concerned about the neighborhood, but we felt safe as the property has a security fence and gate. Lovely redo on the cottage!!! Good communication but initial get into was a little slow---all good once we did connect!! Highly recommend if you need to be in Apache Junction.

Family fun in AZ

The property was very convenient for visiting family and attending Spring Training. Steve was good enough to do some laundry when the machine was not working. The grounds could be refreshed and the carpet could be cleaned.

Apache junction stay

We really enjoyed the privacy and location of this property. It was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable (I'm over 6 ft). The outside porch was awesome. This building is part of a larger lot with another house on it. The property is very secure. There is a partial view of Usery and Superstition mountains. We will stay here again for sure.WWeand

This was a great private location. We particularly appreciated how quiet it was. Steve responded quickly when he was contacted. Everything that we needed for our stay day in January was there. We would consider staying again.

Hosts and the cottage were awesome it was much nicer than I expecting from what the pictured showed online. Steve was very pleasant to talk with and gave us a lot of information how they do things and what they are working on for the future! Overall stay was great, and I would recommend their place to anyone that wants a secure and quit place to stay at a reasonable cost.

Perfect location

Had the run of this property to ourselves. Perfect for coffee and breakfast on the patio. Centrally located; Canyon Lake, Tortilla Flat, and the Superstition Mtns all close by. Central to Apache Junction: all stores, restaurants, event locales easily within 2 miles. Dozens of birds on the property; even cottontail rabbits. Very relaxing, quiet. We would readily stay here again. ( You need to be content with the small size of the unit. We were!)
