Just minutes away from historic Indianola, Cast Away Cottage offers access to an abundance of fishing spots, kayak trails, and bird watching. Plenty of parking for a boat with boat ramp blocks away. Just 15 minutes from Port Lavaca and 25 minutes from Port O'Connor. This newly remolded house comes stocked with all the necessities, including washer and dryer, so just bring your bags and fishing gear and start enjoying all this cozy retreat has to offer!

Perfect house and location

I stayed here for 1 week. The house is adorable and very comfortable. I loved that it had a large kitchen with full sized refrigerator. Everything was spotless and smelled so clean. The house keeper hadn't quite left when i arrived a little early, yet she made me feel so welcomed and she let me bring my things in. My dog and I were both thrilled with the large, grassy back yard that was fully fenced in. The location was an easy 10 minute walk from the beach. The neighborhood was friendly and I felt safe at all times. There was a small convenience store a couple houses away, perfect for snacks and drinks. The marina was a short drive and has a nice little restaurant and dog friendly patio. This was the perfect getaway for peace and quiet and anyone just wanting to relax. I would definitely stay in this exact house again when i come to Magnolia Beach next time.

The house

We weren't able to stay in that home, there was problems with the AC. The owner was able to get us the house next door in less than an hour. The home is nice,fully equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay.

Fantastic stay

House is clean and has everything you need. Easy drive or walk to the beach. Have stayed here many times in the past. Owners are great to work with and communication is excellent. My kids love it here. Thanks for a great stay and we can’t wait to come back

We came down so much we decided to buy a place because we spent so much renting places to stay.
