Yew Tree Farm Cottage..
Beautiful self catering cottage located within the Cheshire village of North Rode, with large garden and countryside walks right from the doorstep. The cottage provides a large lounge / dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. All rooms have central heating. The master bedroom has a super-king sized bed or two single beds. The second bedroom has two single beds. Child safety gates are fitted to the top and bottom of the stairs. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, hob, washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge and deep freeze. The lounge has a 40” Smart TV, DVD player and sound system. All rooms can access Superfast wifi.
The location provides easy networking travel with the M6 only 9 miles away. Macclesfield rail station provides convenient access to the Manchester to London trains. Manchester airport is just 50 minutes.
The cottage is located away from the noise of main roads enjoying views over ‘Bosley Cloud’ and the rolling landscape towards the Staffordshire Moorlands. The Peak District is only a 10 minute drive offering a network of footpaths and many scenic attractions. The cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Chester are all within an hour’s drive or short train journey. More locally the market towns of Congleton, Leek and Macclesfield are within 10 – 15 mins drive. The spa town of Buxton offers the opera house, spa treatments and go-karting all within a 20 min drive. The Peak District can be enjoyed by foot, bike or pony trecking. Boating and steam trains can be enjoyed at Rudyard Lake. There are numerous National Trust properties locally other places to visit include Jodrell Bank Telescope, Alton Towers theme park, the Gritstone Trail walking route, Chatsworth House and Chester zoo. The Potteries provide the World of Wedgewood experience with a factory tour, factory shop, museum and creative workshops for children and adults.
