Wonderful mountain retreat

We really loved our stay in this comfortable mountain house. The views from the large terrace were just gorgeous, even in the mists and rain. Luckily, we had some very fine weather and it was hard to leave the loungers! Sylvie was a caring and responsive host. We enjoyed walking nearby in higher mountains, and the little village of Seix has shops for all your basic needs. We'll be back. Highly recommended!

Perfect holiday home

Great holiday home! The house is beautiful located almost at end of (dead end) road and so quiet. We arrived early, and received full explanation from the verry Nice host. Just 3 of us so enough bedrooms to choose from. The spacious terras has beautiful views of fields and Hilltop. Enough place to sit in sun or shade and fulltime private. Nearby town Seix is nice with river, restaurants, bakkery, and small supermarkt. We could start our walking in the beautifull surounding area directly from the house and had a verry Nice week. We recommend cottage la grange du Cinde to Everyone who is looking to have a quiet, clean base to have a wonderfull holliday. The house is complete and the surounding area is beautifull for hiking.

Zwei Wochen bei tollem Wetter. Wir haben die Terrasse, die Ruhe und den Blick genossen. Im Haus gabs alles was nötig war.

Couserans ontdekken vanuit verzorgde gîte

De gîte is met zorg ingericht. zeer netjes ook, en goed onderhouden tuin. Goed uitgeruste keuken (er waren enkel wat weinig kookpotten met deksel, maar dit wordt verholpen. Sylvie verwelkomt suggesties om de gîte nóg beter uit te rusten.) ideaal uitgangspunt om de mooie Pyrénées ariègoises te ontdekken. De eerste keren lijkt het wegje naar de gîte misschien een beetje eng, maar na 2 dagen ben je dat helemaal gewoon. Je staat in Seix op 10 minuten met de auto. De bedden zijn niet slecht, maar voor sommigen is een 2-persoonsbed van 140cm een beetje smal. Met nieuwe bedden zou deze gîte een echte upgrade krijgen en zou ik 5 sterren geven. We hadden zelf wandelroutes- en kaarten mee. In het huis lag niet veel wandeldocumentatie. Kaarten zijn wel te krijgen in Seix. Wandelroutes te vinden op internet of vermoedelijk ook verkrijgbaar in de toeristische dienst in Seix (wij hebben die niet bezocht). In Seix is trouwens alles te vinden voor de boodschappen. Op zondag is er een marktje. We hebben een mooie vakantie gehad in deze gezellige gîte, in een mooie omgeving, stil en toch niet afgelegen. Ik kan deze gîte aanraden.

Rustikales gemütliches Ferienhaus

Die Vermieterin hat sich darum gekümmert, dass bei der Anreise jemand vor Ort war, der uns das Haus zeigte und den Schlüssel übergab. Zur Abreise kam sie persönlich vorbei, um das Geld für die Endreinigung und den Schlüssel entgegenzunehmen. Zwischendurch tauschte sie den W-Lan-Router aus, da dieser bei einem der häufigen Gewitter kaputt gegangen war. Sie hat sich also um alles gekümmert und war jederzeit erreichbar. Das Haus ist rustikal, bietet alles für einen schönen Urlaub, wenn man keine Luxusansprüche hat. Das Wohnzimmer ist total gemütlich. Für den Kamin empfehlen wir Anmachholz in Vic d´Oust bei der Tankstelle zu besorgen. Die Küche bietet gute Töpfe und Pfannen usw. Ein absoluter Traum ist die riesige Terrasse mit einer tollen Aussicht, die viel Ruhe bietet.

Wonderful property with stunning views

Had fantastic 2 weeks in beautiful surrounding. Views of Pyrenees from the house. Fantastic walks all around the area and great place to explore with our dog. Would recommend the property as a fabulous place to stay

Relax en la montaña

Excelente. Lastima de que no habia nieve en la estacion de Guzet y eso ha afectado que muchos comercios estuvieran cerrados. Pero la casa es muy acogedora. La recomiendo
