Mt. Nittany private getaway State College, PSU vacation rental

Located just 4 miles from Beaver Stadium and campus, this lovely 2-story home on 6.5 acres. Making your stay quiet and private with the convenience of being in State College. The home has great living spaces on a very private lot located right on Mount Nittany! Enjoy a close up view of Mount Nittany and maybe even decide to take a hike! Our back property line adjoins the Mount Nittany Conservancy blue trail. The newly renovated kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, as well as hardwood floors throughout. Downstairs living area was renovated to feature an open floor plan for gatherings. There are 4 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 full, 3 twins and 1 twin futon) with 2 full baths and 1 half bath, as well as multiple flat screen t.v.'s. We also have a large sectional sofa in main living and two futons in second living area. Great for accommodating large groups and families for any event or occasion! Sleeps 13 which will be our max rental capacity.

We had a perfect weekend in State College! The house was exactly as listed. Absolutely beautiful setting and plenty of space for all 7 adults. Easy access to College Avenue and downtown. A couple of us even went for a hike to the scenic overlook - well worth it by the way! The host very graciously allowed us to put our stuff inside the house while we went to pick up others arriving at the airport. No complaints at all and would recommend this location to others!

We stayed for our son's graduation, and this was a perfect place for our 8 total guests...big family room and big table easily big enough to hold all...host made everything very easy...check in and check out was a breeze. Lots of deer around, and great views of the valley...close to everything, but peaceful by the house. Thanks!

State College weekend stay

This property is in a great location maybe 10 minutes outside of Penn State University. The house was very clean, with every amenity we needed during our stay. the outdoor area in the back yard was nice as was the firepit area in the front. Would stay here agaun!!

Absolutely Phenomenal!!!

We came to State College to drop our kids off for school and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The home is in the perfect location and you couldn’t ask for a nicer, more comfortable house in such a peaceful setting. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Spent a few days at this property. Nice quiet spot that is off the beaten path but it is still close to the downtown area and campus. Saw lots of wildlife on the property. It had all of the amenities that we needed. Enjoyed the stay.

Fantastic location, close to everything including Beaver stadium but somehow still quiet and peaceful on a football weekend. Great yard, love the access to the hiking trail nearby and room for a big group to stay and enjoy each other's company at the great dining table, island and open kitchen. Very comfy recliners and beds. Our only criticisms would be that the water pressure was a little low, and it is a lived in house so you have to be ready for that. Overall just what we needed for a very fun homecoming weekend for two alumni couples and their teen/grown kids.

Thanks for your stay. All rentals in college township (stadium and University township) are required to be the owners primary residence. So all rentals close to the stadium will be lived in or they would not be legal rentals. This could affect your stay if someone is not following the rules. Just an FYI for potential guests.

Perfect for PSU games!

My buddies and I were in town for a Penn State game and this place was perfect. We had 12 guys and had room to sleep everyone with a couple air mattresses. Highly recommended for big groups coming in for games.

Perfect Stay for Penn State Graduation Weekend!

We had an exceptional stay at this VRBO for our son’s graduation. The house truly felt like a home away from home—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Its convenient location near the Penn State campus and local grocery stores made our trip even more enjoyable. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience.
