5 minute drive to the beach from this recently refurbished, fabulous bright and airy detached holiday home with sun terrace, plunge pool, BBQ area, sun deck - accessible from both bedrooms with mountain and sea views! Serene and peaceful rural setting with mountain and sea views which is close to the village shops and local amenities. 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the local beach.Car hire is essential. We can recommend a local supplier at Zakynthos airport if you wish.

Have been to Alykes and Alykanas 3 times now and this house has been the best base we have stayed.

Great location with lovely views, sparkling clean, good size property for 4 people having the Benefit of two bathrooms. Communication with June was prompt and any request dealt with efficiently. Would defiantly stay again.

Fantastic Holiday and Fantastic Holiday Home

Just a short note to say that we have just returned from a fantastic holiday and that the home was perfect and just as described. The view from the house is amazing . The small pool was perfect for cooling off (at any time of day). The welcome pack of tea/coffee and wine was a nice touch. The fact that the house was also cleaned during our stay was also a nice surprise. The local beach resort was really nice and having a car meant that we were able to explore the island. I cannot rate the home high enough and I hope that I will be able to return to the island and the home (Kali Tychi) some time soon. Mark

Home from home

When we arrived someone was there to greet us and show us around the property. Very clean and fresh. Added benefit tea and coffee provide, with milk and wine in the fridge, not forgetting bottles of water, so no dashing around looking for a shop. We had an amazing stay loved the house, its location and views. Unfortunately we locked ourselves out if the house, we contacted June and Eamon within 20 minutes someone was there to let us in. Very well managed property. We loved the privacy the back garden provided. Highly recommended this property.

Great stay at Kali Tychi... just wish we'd had a longer trip!

The house is perfect for a 'home away from home': we had a warm welcome on arrival and we were shown all around the house, the kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of glasses, cutlery & cookware etc; the beds are really comfy; everything is impeccably clean and the air conditioning is a godsend! WiFi worked perfectly all around the house. June also left us some lovely amenities which was a fab touch. For example, there were bottles of drinking water in the fridge which was great for arrival, tea, coffee, fresh milk, ice and a nice bottle of local wine too! The plunge pool was perfect, and meant we could cool off when sunning ourselves outside; being sat in the water with the beautiful view was very relaxing, with a lovely shaded area around the other side of the house if you've had too much sun! Also, having a covered carport meant that getting into the car every day wasn't like getting into a hot oven, much appreciated! The location is great for exploring the Island. Located a really short drive (5mins; 25 mins walk) from a great beach town with some lovely restaurants/bars, and there's a bakery/super-marke​t in the town of Katastari itself, which we used daily for breakfast and necessities. Then there are lots of nice paces to explore which are only 30 mins drive away. Our favourites were the Shipwreck beach, Agios Nikolaos beach, and renting a boat from Kerri, to explore Marathonisi Island. Thanks for having us June, you've got a lovely house - we'll definitely be back for another (longer) visit soon!

Why they chose this property

My mother moved to Greece from England in 2007 and designed and built this property to her own specification. My family and I have had many happy memories staying at Kali Tychi over the years.

What makes this property unique

We have recently refurbished Kali Tychi to include a sun terrace with plunge pool and outside BBQ area. 2020 is Kali Tychi's second year on the holiday home market.
