Recently beautifully updated, let the family stretch out and enjoy a beautiful courtyard & ocean view from the deck and living room. Walk out your front door to see the sound on the other side.

Incredible amenities include a large outdoor pool with 150 ft water slide, indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, huge courtyard lawn, playground, tennis court, full basketball court, and even a mini-golf course on the property. The indoor pool was just renovated from top to bottom for the 2020 season!

A walk down the private boardwalk on the property will take you right through the dunes and straight to the beach! Everything you need for a fun family vacation is at your fingertips. The outdoor hot tub is located a few steps from the unit!

The spacious living room is furnished and includes a central TV. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.

This condo is on the third floor and the private porch overlooks the lovely property grounds and outdoor pool with an ocean view beyond that. Close enough to hear the ocean waves from the deck on calm days and nights.

The unit also comes with a washer and dryer located inside the unit!

The property is just minutes away from great family friendly attractions, including a short 1 mile trip to Fort Macon State Park and a 15 minute drive to the NC Aquarium or to Historic Beaufort Waterfront. 10 mins to Morehead city Waterfront.

The room was perfect for our family of six. And had a nice view from the balcony. While there we celebrated our wedding anniversary & also our twins 8th birthday. We will definitely be planning a future trip back.

Great place to stay! Pool is the best, slide was fun, room had everything you need, comfy beds, the three bathrooms is so nice and having a washer and dryer in unit makes it a step above. We enjoyed our stay! Host very responsive and joy to book with :)

We really enjoyed the place. Would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed the the pool and water slide. The gas grills were very nice! Is a lot of things to do at the site to keep family and friends entertained. Wish add a elevator to the other end so be easier to access the building from both ends. The email and packet should have the same info on how to check out but the information is totally different and little confusing. But is a very safe place and family oriented place. Everyone was so nice!!

Fun week at the Beach

Beautiful, spacious setup with gorgeous view

We were late booking this year and unable to book our usual place, so we paid extra for this one and were not disappointed. The extra space was helpful as our kids and spouses/SOs stayed at various times during the week, and the layout and amenities were nice. The mattress in the master bedroom was firm but comfortable. Anticipating rain that, thankfully, dodged us, we brought an extra TV from home for the bedroom, since there's only one, in the main living area. Space was clean, overall, though there were some crumbs, etc., under the couch. The view from the balcony is excellent, though I wish the table were taller. All in all, a very enjoyable stay!

A Place at the Beach has just about everything you could want in a resort at a fabulous location right on the ocean. The building is old and could really use some deep cleaning and some repairs and replacements, like old doors, dirty carpet, and missing roof shingles. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The property office is very nice and newly remodeled. Our condo definitely needs a deep cleaning as well. There was fresh paint and the walls were clean, but the couch and rugs had a lot of stains. The kitchen countertop had sticky stuff on it, so I don't think it got cleaned. The coffee pot wasn't cleaned, either. The floor had a lot of debris on it, so I don't think the cleaners vacuumed, either. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. That's really important. In all, I would give it 3.5 stars, because it really needed a deep clean.

The condo was great!! It was clean and had a great view of the open area and ocean. We did have an issue one day and the water was shut off for the whole building but there was a water main break for the whole building. The resort office was prompt at returning my voicemail that day. Great place and stay.

Great time at the beach

We came to visit with my son at cherry point. It was about 30 minutes away but a great beach to be at. Not crowded at all during the time we were there. Great condo and the amenities were nice too. Definitely do grocery shopping at Lowe’s. It may be a bit more expensive, but it is the cutest grocery store I’ve ever seen!

"Great Family & Fun Resort"

The 3 bedroom unit was extremely clean and well decorated. The unit was well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and toiletries. The view was super and close to all the outdoor amenities. We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning year after year to continue to make family memories. *5 Stars is not enough* For both the resort and host.

Beautifully updated roomy condo with everything, location A+

Our family loved the beach condo, property and location. Nicest we’ve stayed in anywhere on Atlantic Beach. Location A+, fantastic view of property and Ocean. Owners were great to deal with. Condo is roomy, nicely updated, super clean and well stocked. Property is loaded with great amenities and is well maintained. Lots of fun places to visit nearby: #FortMacon # Aquarium #Beaufort #MoreheadCity. Although unseasonably cold in March (#SnowyBeachMorning?) we enjoyed the enclosed pool & hot tub, friendly staff and great local food. We look forward to our next stay and hitting the water slide on a hot summer day :-)

Amazing trip to Atlantic Beach

This was our first vacation to Atlantic Beach and it was beyond amazing. Our 3 bedroom condo was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Stephanie was an amazing host and was very quick to respond to any questions we had. A Place at the Beach was perfect for my kids. The waterslide and playground were a huge hit. I felt very comfortable and safe which is very important to me. Stephanie's recommendations of places to eat and fun activities was very helpful and greatly appreciated. We are already looking forward to vacation here next year!! I would highly recommend this condo.

Wedding Weekend

Chose this for 3-bedroom layout for entire family, beach location, and site amenities. Enjoyed everyone of these items. The age of the property is evident, but you have done a great job in maintaining and updating your unit. One caution, the master bathtub's cold water faucent was leaking just behind the handle. I would check this in case it is leaking into the wall behind the faucets.

Vacation

The property was in a nice location and had a lot of amenities. The gate guard was also helpful and courteous. I had problems getting to the link for the check in process and the property management did nothing to help, assist or resend. Instead I was constantly emailing her asking for assistance. After 1 1/2 days, she just stopped responding to my text messages. When we finally got to the place, the coffee maker didn't work, there was no streaming services available, there were no TVs in any bedroom and not enough toilet paper to last our time there. I will not stay there again.

Practically Perfect

We have stayed in several different APatB units over the years, but this was our first time in this specific unit. It was clean, comfortable, and updated. We had eight people in the unit and it fit us all comfortably. I appreciated that this unit comes with three parking passes and eight recreation bands for the grounds. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great stay, and we will be back.

The condo was very nice. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The amenities of the location were fantastic and the staff was very welcoming when we got there. Everything that we wanted to do was well within driving distance and great food nearby. When we arrived there was only one key for the room which was a little inconvenient since we had multiple families staying in the room but whoever manages this property for the owner was amazing and had another key made right away for us and delivered it to us. Outstanding service!

Paradise at the beach!!

Ms. Rockwells condo was absolutely wonderful!! It was very clean and had all the amenities of home and more! We had 6 of us and there was more then enough room. The beds were very comfortable and my grandson enjoyed having the bunkbeds all to himself. The kitchen had everything you need to cook all your meals right there. There are even charcoal grills close to our condo. We sure did enjoy that yummy grilled food! There are also propane grills by the inside pool on the other side.Our condo also had a very nice balcony with amazing views of the courtyard, outside pool with a very fun water slide. Then there was the nice boardwalk with the beautiful ocean!Oh ya the condo also has a washer and dryer so you dont have to pack half the house like i do! The condo also had plenty of beach chairs so you can leave yours at home. My family really enjoyed the Rockwells condo and the Place At the Beach!! There is everything you could want in a vacation! Cant wait until we can get back! Also Ms. Rockwell is very good at answeing all your questions you may have! Thanks again for a very lovely vacation!!

Needs updating

This unit was nicely located within the resort. Easy access to outdoor areas and beach. It was a bit of a walk to the indoor pool. The inside if the unit needs updating. The wicker chairs are falling apart and the one actually had a huge hole in it. The floors had cracks snd the mattress were all uncomfortable except the mast suite.

Great Location

We have always loved staying at APATB. This is the first time renting from a rental company vs. private owner and you could tell the differences. This unit was as described, but lacked the “extras”. We did not have adequate items to clean dishes/wipe down counters and the unit could use an overall deep cleaning.

Get the three bedroom

We’ve stayed at A Place at the Beach many times. This time we got the 3 bedroom. If you can do it, Do It! Our condo was fantastic! Everything else was the same, a great place to stay.
