The house El Cachón is located in the idyllic village of Alájar, in the heart of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park.
It is located in one of the entrances of Alájar and gives easy access on foot to both the various trails and the typical restaurants that are in the town.
This small town is located in one of the most leafy enclaves of the Sierra de Aracena, among centuries-old forests of oaks, cork oaks and chestnut trees, at the foot of the legendary Peña de Arias Montano. Its typical white houses surround some squares where local life takes place.
From the house we enjoy views of La Peña de Arias Montano.
An ideal place to enjoy the tranquility and rest in nature and take walks through the beautiful trails that leave from the cobbled streets of the town.

Me ha encantado la casa, todo muy limpio, servicio de toallas, sábanas y accesorios de cocina excelente...
Aparcamiento cercano y a pocos metros de la plaza del pueblo. Vistas al Santuario de la Virgen y rodeada de naturaleza.

LA MEJOR CASA RURAL QUE CONOZCO
Fin de semana inolvidable en Alájar. Situada en un paraje rodeado de vegetación, con una situación ideal como punto de partida de rutas senderistas. La casa es perfecta, no le falta nada. Tiene calefacción en el suelo, y un patio magnífico para hacer barbacoas, jugar a la pocha o al tute con una botella de ginebra, tónica y mucho hielo.
En una sola palabra, magnífica. Os la recomiendo a todos. Se me olvidaba, en el pueblo hay varios restaurantes donde se como el mejor jamón y las mejores carnes ibéricas de la sierra.

COMO EN CASA
Gracias Paco e Ingrid -sus propietarios-por hacernos sentir como en casa. Auténtico fin de semana rodeado de naturaleza recorriendo las rutas de la zona. El frío de las noches no ha impedido disfrutar de una de las casas rurales más acogedoras en las que hemos estado en los últimos años, con su chimenea, su amplio salón, sus vistas a la peña, sus amplios dormitorios, su cercanía al pueblo. A ello añadir momentos gastronómicos inolvidables en ese rincón del pueblo que es el Padrino donde degustamos del ibérico en todas sus facetas servido de una bodega inimaginable. Por todo ello no podemos sino afirmar que volveremos a Alájar y al Cachón por supuesto como nuestra mejor opción de alojamiento.
