The beautiful fishing town of Ericeira is an easy 15 minute walk away, which gives you easy access to the restaurants, bars and shops without needing a car.

The Villa is town house in style which means Surf and Sunset Views can be enjoyed from numerous rooms and 2 large terraces and a balcony.


The property location offers guests easy access to many fantastic beaches, surf spots and the beautiful clean and well kept fishing town of Ericeira.

There is plenty here to keep all the family happy from surf and skate to day-spa's and quiet beach spots for catching up on the latest novels.

Accommodation description:

We have recently renovated the house over the last couple of years so now it is modern, stylish and comfortable.

Bed 1 sleeps maximum 2 in either a Twin or double bed and is on the living room level with a shower room next door to it.

Bed 2 sleeps maximum 2 with a double bed & leads to the terrace with ocean view.

Bed 3 sleeps maximum 2 with a trundle bed converting to 2 single beds.

Bed 4 sleeps maximum 4, 2 adults and 2 children, This can be arranged with a twin or double bed and a day bed that can be used as a double bed if you are using the twin beds for the children. This room enjoys sea views.

Bathrooms:
Bathroom 1 is located next door to bedroom 1 and has a large rain shower and also handheld shower, Wc and handbasin.

Bathroom 2 is a shower room with Rain shower and handheld shower with WC and handbasin which Bedrooms 2 & 3 share.

Bathrooom 3 is a full size bathroom with bathtub & rain shower and handheld shower, WC, and Handbasin.

The kitchen, living and dining area is all open plan which creates a wonderful space to socialise eat and relax.

The kitchen, is fully equipped with electric oven and gas hob. There is a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric iron and ironing board. Toaster and kettle.
There are plenty of plastic plates and cutlery etc for the children.

The Living Room/dining room is bright and airy space with panoramic ocean views.
There is a L shaped sofa seating for 6 and 2 chairs in the snug for relaxing.
We have a toy box available for our younger guests.
There is a dining table which seats 8. Also a seating area in the kitchen to seat 4 more.

There is a Widescreen TV, stereo system and surround sound in the living area and free internet broadband Wifi to use round the house.

There is a washing machine available for guests to use on lower floor.

Other:

The balcony on the living floor has a table and 4 chairs which can extend the dining facilities. There are also 2 large terraces one with BBQ on the top floor that can be used for Alfresco dining and relaxing.

On the lower floor there is a board room kitted out with surf board rack and wetsuit hangers, with access to the street and lower ground parking.

All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Fresh towels and linen and a freshen up of Villa during your stay available on request.


All guests will receive a PDF welcome pack for the villa with essential villa and local area on information on booking. We have a property manager who will welcome all guests.
She is also available locally should you have any problems with the villa during your stay.

Ericeira is a World Surfing Reserve, joining it with only 4 others in the world, like Manley Beach in OZ and Malibu USA.
You can easily watch friends and family surfing from the comfort of the Villa.
Ericeira has consistent surf all year long, and there are plenty of places to hire boards and wetsuits and have lessons.
Coast/Beach
Surf and Sunset Villa directly overlooks Matadouro beach and is 5-10 minute walk.
Ribeira das Ilhas is a world famous surfing beach 10-15 minute walk or 5 minutes drive.
South Beach is a 5 minute drive from the Villa and is a wonderful family friendly beach. There is a man-made tidal pool here which is nice and shallow at low tide and fun for small children
Foz do Lizandro is 10 mins drive and a great place for surfing and family play.
Golf
The golf resort of Penha Longa is only 40 minutes away and offers the championship Atlantic Course which is ranked amongst the top 30 courses of Continental Europe. This resort also has the Monastery Course - a nine hole par 35 course of 2,588 metres. Only 35 minutes away is the extraordinary beautiful and uniquely charming 18 hole, par 72 golf course at CampoReal resort.
Other interests:
If your special interests are food and wine, you will find many excellent sea food and meat restaurants in Ericeira and nearby Ribamar.
Other activities available in Ericeira: Paddle boarding, biking, mountain biking, horse riding, bird watching, fishing and of course, sunbathing!

The main bus station of Ericeira is only a 20 minute walk away from the villa and offers transport throughout the area including an express service to Campo Grande, in the centre of Lisbon.
Lisbon airport is only a 30 minutes drive (40kms).
Direct flights are available to Lisbon from Manchester, Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Edinburgh and other major British cities.
There is plenty of free parking at Surf and sunset villa.

We have made sure our villa is child friendly. We have cots available, a high chair, baby bouncer chair and stair gates. Plastic crockery and cutlery. There are toys for inside and outside the house and beach toys too.

Surf and Sunset is our family holiday house which we love spending time in. We hope our guests will treat this like they do their own homes and look after it.

No Smoking please in the property.

No pets allowed, but lots of surf boards!!!!
