Apartment in the medieval village of Trevejo

The accommodation consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room with integrated kitchen in it. It has a hall where you will find wood for the stove and some products for sale. There is also a garden space with barbecue and picnic area to enjoy the good weather.

The Corrillo has air conditioning, heating by heat pumps and wood stove. Equipped kitchen; coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hob, fridge, dishes, wine glasses. In the living room there are board games and television.

Casa Rural El Corrillo is located at the entrance of Trevejo, the most charming medieval village in the Sierra de Gata. This small village was declared BIC (Good of Cultural Interest) in 1982, which allowed the current state of conservation.

Trevejo is currently a hamlet of Villamiel, an oil town, with a long and award-winning history for its EVOOs (extra virgin olive oils) of quality and main producer of wines from the Sierra, in addition to sharing the fame for its quality with Robledillo de Gata , Cilleros or San Martín de Trevejo.

The castle of Trevejo is the emblem of the Sierra de Gata and an attraction for lovers of history and architecture, romantic and adventurous, as well as being a perfect place for the observation of the Rivera Trevejana and especially the starry sky, since We are in a location of very low light pollution.

At 60m from the house you will find El Buen Avío, a tapería where you can try all the products of the region and where we ourselves will attend all your needs of the rural house and tourist information.

For hiking enthusiasts there is an interesting offer of routes, including the second ecocultural corridor in Extremadura, which connects Trevejo (just in front of the rural house) with Villamiel, San Martín de Trevejo, the port of Santa Clara and the Jálama peak. There are also paved roads and roads to other neighboring towns such as Hoyos, Cilleros, Moraleja and small villages or farmhouses such as the Divine Pastora, Casa Blanca, Nava del Rey, Fuente Aliso, and through the old oil mills and flour mills of Villamiel.

The house has a location from which you can see the entire Sierra de Santa Olalla, Fuente Aliso and the pasture of San Pedro, a vast space that is a privilege of the height of Trevejo.

In Villamiel and Trevejo, tradition has now been mixed with a growing interest in sustainability and excellence in gastronomic products. You can taste internationally awarded products, natural wines (without added sulphites), honey, mushrooms and other preserves in the area.
