Great stay if you want to be close to great surfing. We appreciate that he left us some starter groceries. One of the bedrooms has a strong mildew smell but we just kept the air blowing

Thanks Holly V...Sorry you did not inform me of your observation of a "mildew " smell in one bedroom, during your stay . You had my mobile phone number and I would have checked it immediately. Investigating, after you left and messaged me about it , I found that the prior guests had left moth balls in the back of the closet in the bedroom, not readily visible. The smell was mothball vapors, not mildew. Still, unpleasant. Problem solved.

Fantastic!

Such a friendly personal welcome! Really liked the small special things (cold beer in the fridge, coffee and even delivery of eggs :). House is really spacious and everything is there. If you are a surfer, this is really the best place to stay, within 2 minutes you are in the sea. If you're not a surfer, take the beach chair (also in the house) and stay at the beach under the beautiful tree. I loved that place so much. We also loved that we saw so many sea turtles. It's only a 15 minute walk to Oistins (bus and fish market), from there you can go anywhere with the reggae bus. Really had a great stay. Thx

110% Above and beyond

This property was more then perfect!! The location was great (you can see the ocean from the front porch). Our host was awesome and frindly! There was everything we needed plus things we didn't even know we would need. The outside shower and folding chairs and cooler for use were all bonuses and saved us $ we may have had to spend. All the basics were already in the kitchen and saved so much stress when getting to the island and making sure we had sugar for tea etc... we will be rebooking this location again if we can get in! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

Convenient. Functional.

- A short walk to the surf shop for board/lesson. - A literal stone throw to the beach. You can see the water from the from front window/porch. - You'll hear animals day and night: insects, birds, roosters, a goat or two.... If you're not used to this, then this is not a good choice. What you don't hear is crowd/car noise. - The owner offered to buy us groceries in advance due to Christmas closure. Can't really ask for more.

Wonderful stay in a great property!

This newly renovated property was nicely appointed and well situated for our purposes. Very close to surfers beach and an easy walk to Miami Beach. Peter was very welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Have stayed in a number of properties in Barbados and this one beats them all! Highly recommended.

Short stay in a great apartment

The “Green House” as we called it during our stay was a great accommodation for our visit. My family and I went home for a funeral but the house was a nice an comfortable for my cousins and I. Peter (host/owner) was close by for anything we needed and very accommodating. The location is optimal if you are new to the island and slightly adventurous. The house has everything you need and then some but you do have to walk a few minutes (5-15) to the beach and/or main road. We are familiar with the island so it was really easy for our family. Thank you for allowing us to stay Peter.

Just Right

The Dragonfly apartments are truly an ideal place to base your Barbados holiday, the apartments are beautifully remodeled and furnished. Strolling the shoreline and spotting turtles along Freights bay is the perfect way to begin and end your days. There is quick and easy access to beaches, surfing, sightseeing, shopping, and dining. Peter is a fabulous host, offering advice on navigating the island and providing us with all that we needed. We enjoyed the most amazing week and hope to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

So glad you enjoyed Dragonfly Apartment 2 . You obviously appreciated the shoreline that is Freights Bay , right in front of the apartment, and all that the Oistins area offers Sorry I wasn't as available as normal due to a family crisis. Hope you come back for another visit .
