The best vacation, even with a rainy week, the camp was so nice, it was clean and cozy. The owners went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect! Can't wait to go back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We made use of the dock, canoe, and paddle boat and had a great time. Donna came by to say hello and welcome us after we arrived and assured us that if we needed anything they were close by. Thank you for sharing your property with us!
Hosts were more than hospitable and the house was supplied generously. The camp house was perfect for our crew especially with the use of the dock. Loved the views, the loon calls and the kindness of everyone we met. Having a washer and dryer was very useful.
Although a little shocked the property was so close to the road, the water frontage and camp itself more than made up for it. The sunsets were amazing! I had 4 teenage boys with me (my son and 3 friends), we brought 2 small fishing boats and were able to tie them up right at the dock. We had a great week, would highly recommend this camp!
Donna and Mike were great hosts and the house looks even better in person. Relaxing spot right on the pond with everything you need. There is not much in the surrounding area but not what we were going for. Worthley Pond is clean and perfect for swimming.
Lovely camp right on the water. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and dock every day. We had a camp on the opposite side for years. It was in my husbands family for over 70 years. We sold last October so renting is a different experience altogether. The hosts made sure everything was cleaned and that we had everything we needed for our stay. Anyone would be happy here.
Worthley Pond is a lovely getaway in this gem of an area! Peru is located in the center of a rock-hound’s dream, with several locations for mineral collectors to enjoy. Be sure to visit Leighton’s in West Paris, go sluicing for gems with the family, gold panning in nearby Swift River, and the stunning Maine Mineral & Gem Museum in Bethel.
The cabin is lovely and well equipped and the owners were friendly and communicative. Be sure to go for a canoe ride on the pond or swimming to the dock. For those of us who are 6’3” or taller, be forewarned that there are some low ceilings!
Great place for us with small dog. Management friendly and responded quickly to all questions and needs. Grandchildren enjoyed afternoon visits on the lake with us.
This property is gorgeous. You can tell it has had a face-lift because of the wood-slat walls and ceiling. Great appliances to cook your own meals (not that many restaurants in the immediate area). Gas grill on the spacious deck, and a fenced in backyard just perfect for our small dogs to run and chase each other. We had a fire in the firepit every night. Comfortable beds and couches (plural). We liked the two reclining chairs. Spectrum cable is included, as well as Wi-Fi, Lots of picture windows to look out over the lake. Very quiet, especially at night. You can see the stars on a clear night, and in the morning, you can see a light fog hovering over the water. But, soon enough, the morning sun makes the fog disappear. The only negative thing is that the yard is rocky and somewhat steep to get to the dock. Otherwise, fantastic!
Great spot right on the water! As advertised. Updated, clean, and organized. Seemed like the quieter end of the lake boat traffic wise which was nice. Everything our family was looking for in a lakefront rental. Hope to be back next year!
We booked our stay for a long weekend, and it was wonderful! We were able to bring our 2 dogs, who absolutely loved the fenced in yard, firepit, and the lake! The property was clean and well equipped. Like other reviewers mentioned the two bedrooms are upstairs and connected to one another. The staircase is hard to navigate if you are taller. Overall we had a fantastic weekend and would absolutely recommend this place! The owners were quick to communicate and very accommodating. We had no issues with our security deposit like other reviewers mentioned. We just followed the house rules and left the place the way we found it, no issues at all. 5 stars!
Simple and quiet. Everything you need for a great ME getaway!

Will not be returning
I’ve stayed here two years in a row with my family. The first year went well aside from the cable/internet being shut off half way through the stay because the owners did not pay it. We brought it to their attention and it was handled. The property is nice and on a lovely pond.
The second year went well except the hot water did not work well. It was either fire or Ice cold no happy medium which made my grandfather unable to shower the entire week due to low mobility. We cleaned the place when we left S we did the year before... down to even washing some of the sheets and blankets for them. I received an email from the owner after stating I left purple hair die in the shower and my dogs scratched the wall from being unsupervised. My hair has not been died in upwards of six months so leaving hair die stains is not possible. I have brand new white bathroom in my renovated house that does not have ANY hair die in it. Also, the scratch she was talking about was there when we arrived. My dogs were never left unsupervised. If we were outside and they were inside they were kept in the kennel. She used these as reasons for keeping the security deposit but acted as though it was a favor to return it. I advised her of my new address since I had moved from when we originally booked the trip. She sent a check to the completely wrong address of someone who made half the payment of the rental on my mothers behalf even though it was confirmed to send the check to me. Now I’m told she isn’t issuing a stop payment and I need to retrieve the check myself. This is borderline impossible since the man no longer lives at that address and is in a nursing home. This experience is petty and unsettling. I will not rent from these owners again from any of their three properties on the pond.
This comfortable little camp sits right on the pond. Beautiful sunsets. Quiet, clean and well equipped. You'll have to wash your own dishes (no dishwasher), but that is a small price to pay for this perfect spot to relax. The owners, Mike & Donna, are lovely people and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Best of all, we were able to take our 2 dogs. The fenced in yard was a great place for them to roam around. We'll definitely consider coming back again.
