Gure Txokoa cottage for 8 people

The rural house Gure Txokoa is located in OLLO - NAVARRA 20 minutes from Pamplona. A luxury place for all nature lovers and for all those who want to escape the noise of the city. The house is newly built and has all the comforts: 3 double bedrooms, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, reading corner and games room (with foosball, diana and various board games), a large living room and a private outdoor plot for the tenants of the house. The house is also in a spectacular setting completely surrounded by nature. Among the possible activities is hiking with several marked routes and routes specially designed for mountain bikes. Also from the rural house we organize visits so that the smallest of the house, and not so small, can know first hand the life in the field. To all the tenants who wish it we will teach the garden, the farm with the cows and mares and we will show how we make our own salt.

    A lovely property in a great location in the hills. Great welcome from the host. Secure garage parking. Shops and eating generally a drive away with one local restaurant in the village. Ideal for local walking and short drive to Pamplona. Very enjoyable

    Rural life

    The property is ideal, situated in rural, but accessible, Navarra. The scenery is amazing, the hosts thoughtful and kind, the house extraordinarily comfortable. Es bueno si que hablas español. I plan on returning for sure!

    All one could ask for

    Impecable home in the most adorable tiny town of Ollo. We visited San Fermines in Pamplona, had a day trip to wine country / Logroño, and this home was the perfect retreat. Miles de gracias a Asun, the perfect hostess, who wanted nothing more than for us to be happy. Our family of 4 was spoiled with the expansive space and clean house that we were grateful to call home for a few days. Gracias Asun! 10/10 recommended, particularly if you have a car.

    Amazing property!

    We don’t have enough words to describe how great this house is. It has top level comfort in the middle of the prairie, 30 minutes away from San Sebastian and Pamplona and less than 2 hours from Bilbao. We came to visit the Basque Country and San Fermin and we now want to come back just to stay in this house again. The host Asun was terrific and was attentive to every detail and need. Fantastic stay. Couldn’t be happier. Ample rooms with everything we needed and more. Even a barbecue that we didn’t have time to use! One thing to note is that it doesn’t have a dryer (it does have a washer) so if you are a family with young kids like us, wash frequently to allow for time to dry outside! (It has multiple cloth lines to dry so that works out well!!) We will definitely come back

    We highly recommend Gure Txokoa! Google Translate says that means “Our Corner,” and that is the perfect name for it. It is definitely a calm peaceful place to get away, located in a beautiful corner of the world. Many thanks to Asun, Asier, and Laura for giving us a lovely welcome. Ollo is a beautiful tiny village surrounded by green fields and mountains. You won’t find stores and tourist sites and crowds here. What you will find is beauty and rest. The house itself is amazing! It’s very spacious, is spotlessly clean, and feels brand new. Much thought has gone into the details in both its construction and décor, with lovely, quality details. There are three beautifully appointed bedrooms and three luxurious bathrooms, with a modern well-stocked kitchen. You’ll even find a dishwasher and washing machine. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels and warm blankets. We highly suggest you sit out on the upper balcony and take in the lovely view of the village and valley. Thank you to Asier for showing us his salt mining area and his father’s farm. That was fascinating and a highlight. We were even able to see a calf, only an hour old, trying to take his first steps. Pamplona and San Sebastian are an easy drive away. Or just stay in Ollo and enjoy the peace and quiet!

    Dit is een heerlijk huis met bijna alles dat je nodig hebt! De gastvrouw is vriendelijk, neemt de tijd om alles uit te leggen en er stond zelfs wat te eten voor ons klaar. Het huis is ruim en was heel schoon en netjes. Er is een heerlijke tuin met een barbecue onder een overkapping.

    Een fantastisch verblijf in Ollo

    We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in deze prachtige streek. We kregen een warm welkom van de eigenaresse. Het huis was boven verwachting. Heel ruime kamers. Onze beide dochters hadden elk hun eigen badkamer, wat ze erg fijn vonden. Het huis is binnen heerlijk koel. Buiten heb je een fijn terras met een grote BBQ. Ollo is een gezellig dorpje met vriendelijke mensen. Er is een restaurant en elke dag komt de bakker met vers brood langs. Vanuit Ollo hebben wij veel mooie uitstapjes gemaakt, zoals Pamplona, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Logrono,Vitoria etc. Als je van natuur en cultuur houdt ben je hier op het juiste adres. Het weer is heerlijk, niet te warm zoals in Zuid-Spanje. Voor ons zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

    Logement extra et très propre ! Idéalement situé entre san Sébastian et Pampelune. Parfait pour profiter de la ville et de la campagne en un seul Week-end. La propriétaire a pensé à tout. Hôte très très sympathique et très disponible. Séjour ( trop court) à renouveler très vite !

    Warmherzige Gastgeber und ein sehr schönes Haus

    Vom warmherzigen Empfang waren wir bei der Anreise am bereits späten Abend überwältigt; sogar ein gedeckter Tisch erwartete uns. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, sauber und bei der Ausstattung fehlt es an nichts. Sollten wir nochmals nach Nordspanien reisen, kommen wir gerne wieder.

    So far above our hopes and expectations!

    This property is spectacular. Between the house and the views and the village and the family that runs it - it was all we were hoping for in a "classic house in little rural Spanish village" but with all the conveniences and comforts. The lowing of the cows, the church bell, the voices of people laughing nearby - the best sort of music. We've rented a lot of houses in a lot of countries and this was by far our favorite.

    Una casa amplia y superequipada

    Es una casa de reforma reciente, con 3 estupendas habitaciones exterioires y sus 3 baños respectivos. Amplio salón y cocina superequipada. Terraza, sala de juegos y barbacoa, todo con sus utenisilios y complementos al abasto el cliente. Cabe decir que todos los rincones de la casa están perfectamente amueblados y decorados con mucho gusto. Las fotos hacen honor a la realidad. Por último, la calidad humana de Asun, la casera, ha sido el punto final para conseguir el 10.

    Solo tengo buenas palabras para describir nuestra estancia en la casa rural Gure Txocoa. La casa es magnífica, completamente reformada, habitaciones grandes, colchones comodísimos, barbacoa, lavavajillas, garaje, jardin... todo está cuidado al detalle. El pueblo es precioso y también sus alrededores. Asun y su familia son maravillosos. Desde el primer dia se han preocupado por nuestro bienestar, hasta el punto de compartir con nosotros verdura de su huerto, enseñarnos las salinas familiares y su funcionamiento, la granja y sitios por donde acceder a los rios cercanos para poder bañarnos. De verdad, muchísimas gracias por todo lo que habeis hecho por nosotros. Si estais buscando sitio donde desconectar, no os lo penseis: este es el mejor sitio!!

    Escapada perfecta

    Hemos estado cinco amigos una semana, ha sido una semana perfecta, la casa es preciosa no falta nada, tiene todas las comodidades posibles, el entorno es hermoso, los anfitriones son un amor, no tengo más que buenas palabras para describir lo bien que nos trataron, lo bien que nos hicieron sentir. Gracias por tanto, por todos los detalles. Esta casa es maravillosa para estar en familia, amigos, hay juegos, entretenimiento, naturaleza y está en una perfecta ubicación para visitar pueblos y ciudades. La recomiendo a todo el mundo porque no se van arrepentir. Desde luego repetiré. Gracias!!
