About this property

Summary:
This is a lovely 1 bedroom Lake Lugano apartment set on the lakeside and enjoying 180 degree lake views. It is equipped with WIFI, satellite TV and music system. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a boat stop.

The Space:
This Lake Lugano apartment is a 5 minute walk from the ferry boat landing. The location really doesn't get any better than this and the views from the apartment are stunning.

This Lake Lugano apartment has been furnished to a good standard and is well equipped. The apartment has wonderful high ceilings, with old structural arches framing the fabulous bay windows that look out over the lake.

Bright and airy, it boasts a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and open plan living and dining area. The living area has a sofa allowing the property to sleep up to 3 guests in total. (Please note that this is not a sofa bed but guests are welcome to use the sofa should they wish to as it is quite wide). There is satellite TV, a music system and DVD library for cost nights in.

Doors lead from the living area of this Lake Lugano apartment to a private balcony, equipped with table and chairs. This truly is the perfect spot for an aperitif or to enjoy a romantic meal watching the sun glisten on the lake waters. The owner has furnished and equipped the property to a good standard.

San Mamete is a pretty little town on Lake Lugano. This Lake Lugano apartment is in a great location right on the lakeside, within walking distance of 3 restaurants, a village store, post office, pharmacy and boat stop. Located just 5 minutes from the Swiss border, the apartment is an ideal location for those who plan to do some sightseeing during their stay. It's just an hour from Milan and 15 minutes from Lugano. Within a 30 minute drive you can even be on the shores of Lake Como.

Getting Around:
This Lake Lugano apartment is within a 5 minute walk of the boat stop where you can catch a boat to the other towns and villages on the lake. There is also a bus stop within walking distance. A car is advised though in order to make the most of your stay at this Lake Lugano apartment if you wish to enjoy some sightseeing.

Other Things to Note:
San Mamete is a charming lakeside village offering guests the chance to enjoy an authentic stay in this beautiful part of Italy. The lake views from the apartment are incredible and we think that the local property manager, Roxana, does an amazing job in taking care of guests during their stay.

We highly recommend this beautiful place.

Our overall experience was wonderful. Daniela met us to give us our key and a tour of the apartment. She was very detailed, informative and helpful. She took her time and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was immaculate and provided everything we needed in the kitchen. I'm very picky with beds, this one was very comfortable. The view from the balcony and bedroom window was dreamy. Just what we wanted and need to de-stress. We absolutely recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat. Also wanted to mention that Daniela went above and beyond in details. She found out that we were celebrating our anniversary, so she took it upon herself to get us a gift and had chocolates on our pillows. Overall, we had the best time. (Daniela in particular made the stay great. She made sure that any question we might have was already answered in the packet of information at the apartment and also she had maps and details about all local points of interest.)

This well appointed apartment is in an ideal location for a mature couple to have a relaxing holiday in a lovely part of Italy. Although San Mamete was the perfect location for us we were also not far from other interesting places to visit. All in all this was an excellent holiday.
