About this property

Casa Sandra, Newly renovated traditional Andalucian townhouse

Traditional 2 bedroom Spanish townhouse with roof garden in the beautiful town of Competa.

In May of 2025 we completed our renovation of Casa Sandra including new flooring throughout, a new kitchen, new juliette balcony in the kitchen, new bathroom and universal plug sockets in the bedrooms and kitchen to save you having to bring adaptors.

Casa Sandra is a perfect base to explore the beautiful white villages or costal towns and beaches.

Just a few minutes stroll from the town square the townhouse has main door access and is set over 3 floors with private roof garden.

On the ground floor you have a Living area with log burner, TV and WC.

Moving up the stairs onto the first floor you have a large dining kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee machine, washing machine air conditioning, TV etc.

The second floor houses two air conditioned double bedrooms, a WC with shower.

The private roof garden is accessed from the 2nd floor, for your comfort it has a sun shelter that covers approximately half of the garden. Under the shelter you will find a table and chairs for alfresco dining which you can cook on the gas BBQ. The roof garden is a sun trap and gets sun all day so it is an ideal spot if you like to soak up the rays. If reading a book in the shade is more your thing the large sun shelter is the place for you.

Other things to note

Competa is a traditional white Spanish village built on the side of the mountain, there are a lot of hills in the village. The house is a traditional town house with lots of stairs, so it could be unsuitable for people with restricted mobility. Please feel free to send me a message if you are unsure if it will be suitable for you and I can try to advise.

A lovely home in a great location.

A well kept home right near the main square with a sunny terrace, a wood stove and a very well equipped kitchen. We arrived on the bus from Málaga and managed very well without a car.

Great place for a winter getaway.

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sandra. Highlight was the wonderful kitchen with everything you could possibly need, including a library! The only negative for us was the stairs ( we live in a bungalow) but we got used to them after a few days.

Fantastic property

Great , well equipped property with all that you need for a fabulous time in Competa. Centrally located and close to restaurants & bars along with the shops. Quite honestly the best equipped kitchen we have ever had the pleasure of using in a rental property. Wonderful roof terrace with views to the sea and the mountains. Each bedroom and kitchen with their own AC along with loads of towels and bedding. All in all a great holiday made even better by this lovely property at a very reasonable price - book it !

Short stay in Competa

Absolutely charming property, which was extremely well appointed. There was everything that you required. Great location and really lovely neighbours. The only downside, would be if you are nor physically able to manage steps, there are lots of them inside the property and throughout Competa. Great view of the mountain from bedrooms. We had a great stay there.

Charming town house

Casa Sandra is a lovely, authentic town house just a minute or two walk from the beautiful town square. It was the most well-equipped holiday home I have ever stayed in! The roof terrace is beautiful but it is very close to other terraces - luckily our immediate neighbour's terrace was unoccupied. Also, it is quite a steep metal stairway to get up there. The house is so handy for all that Competa has to offer from the town square, the bars, restaurants, and shops to the walks around the village that provide amazing views and picturesque streets.

Bijzonder huis in prachtige omgeving

Wij kenden Competaen omgeving van een wandelvakantie 24 jaar geleden. Omgeving nog steeds even mooi, onze benen wat ouder. Te merken in de steile straatjes! Maar heerlijk om twee weken te "wonen" in dit sfeervolle huis.

Lovely getaway in Competa

Lovely townhouse - has everything you need. It's very tastefully decorated and has a nice home feel. Kitchen has everything you need, and the roof terrace at the end of the day for a drink is lovely. Very nice visit, helpful owner

Highly recommended

Amazing home just a few minutes from square that has all the amenities you could wish for. Loved the roof top terrace that has incredible far reaching views and had a few BBQs up there. The owner Stephen is amazing and replied promptly to all the questions. His uncle Jim is only a few houses away and is there if you need him. I would def recommend this place to anyone.
