Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and broadband included. . Large enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children.. Enjoying a quiet setting just a few miles outside the islands capital of Portree, Arnish Cottage has been equipped and furnished to a very good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing a holiday as possible. Such a tastefully presented and charming cottage which is simply ideal for exploring all that the Isle of Skye has to offer. Portree benefits from many amenities which include some super pubs and restaurants, shops, art galleries and craft shops, swimming pool and climbing wall with the Aros Centre and cinema just on the outskirts of the town. Arnish Cottage makes a very convenient base for exploring this beautiful island including the dramatic scenery of the Trotternish Ridge, the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing and Cuillin mountain range. Visit Dunvegan home to Dunvegan Castle and gardens from where you can take a walk on to the coral beach – simply stunning! Visit the Sleat Peninsula known as ‘The Garden of Skye’. The island boasts distilleries including Talisker and Torabhaig where you can sample the wares at your leisure. There are many activities available including hill and mountain climbing in the Cuillins, mountain biking on the many trails, pony trekking, paintballing and archery, golf and numerous types of watersports and sea cruises to name just a few. So many things to see and do for all ages. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
