About this property
Quirky home in Paddington Sleeps 6
Welcome to my beautiful and spacious home in Paddington that can sleep 6 people! A 3 minute walk to Royal Oak Underground station and an 8 minute walk to Paddington Station! It has been recently decorated by a London designer and it is bright and spacious. The flat is professionally cleaned and fully equipped with everything you need.
The space
Welcome to my home! This lovely 2 bedroom has been designed by a designer friend of mine and it reflects (hopefully) a fun and energetic personality!
The flat is less than 10 mins walk from Paddington Station and 3 mins walk to Royal Oak station. This means you can get to most part of London in 20 mins and to Heathrow Airport in 30 mins on the Heathrow Express. Now that's what they call an amazing location!
Coming back to the flat - its 2 bedrooms with a sofabed in the living room. This makes that the flat can take up to 6 people. The living room is spacious and bright and decorated in some cool art work!
The sofabed opens into a full double bed (140 cms) so that two adults can easily sleep on it. I have tested it and its a very comfy sofabed :)
There is a Smart TV for your entertainment with access to Netflix.
Also there is a dining table for relaxing meals with the family that you can make in the fully equipped kitchen. It comes stocked with toaster, kettle, microwave pots and pans and some basic cooking ingredients. Ample tea, coffee and sugar is provided!
Both bedrooms are have double beds and I provide luxury cotton linens to all my guests. The flat is professionally cleaned after each guest and linens changed! The bathroom comes with fluffy towels, shampoo and shower gel.
A baby cot and high chair can be provided upon prior request. Other extras in the flat include iron, ironing board, washing machine and hair dryer.
The neighbourhood
This apartment is located in a lovely, leafy and safe part of West London and you can walk to Hyde Park from the flat in less than 10 minutes! You can pick up a city cycle at the park and then have a lovely afternoon cycling around its lovely grounds.
If you are in the mood for some shopping and eating, then walk further west towards Notting Hill. You will hit Ledbury Road in about 12-15 mins. It is a nice stroll along Westbourne Grove where you can stop to pick up some healthy foods from Planet Organic. There are some lovely places to eat here such as Granger & Co., The Ledbury, Cafe 202 etc. Don't miss the Daylesford Organic Farm shop. It has the best selection of cheeses.
If you keep walking on Westbourne Grove you will hit the famous Portobello Market. Here you can spend many happy hours haggling with antique dealers or simply watch the fun. This is also a great place to try out street foods or buy little knick knacks for gifts when you go back home.
Venture further afield by hopping on to the Bakerloo line at Paddington - this will take you to Baker Street for the Madame Tussauds and Sherlock Holmes Museum. In 15 minutes you will be in Oxford Circus, the throbbing heart of this great city. Next stop is Piccadilly Circus - the gateway to Soho and the theatre district.
And if you are after the big sights such as Westminster Abbey, Parliament and Big Ben then just change over to the Jubilee line at Bakerloo (the change is just across the platform) and you will be there in no time!
Getting around
The flat is served by few tube stations. Royal Oak is 3 minutes walk away and is on the Hammersmith and City line. You also have access to the Circle Line and Central line on Queensway leading to Hyde park. The other station is Paddington which is about 8-9 mins walk away. Here you can get the Bakerloo line in addition to the Hammersmith and City and circle lines.
Paddington is also where the Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect pull in. The Connect trains are less than half the price of the Express and will bring you into London in 30 mins! Its my one top tip to save some money :)
Alternatively download Uber app at the airport and get an Uber cab.

Hi, I'm Chris. A Londoner born and bred :) As they say 'if you're tired of London, you're tired of life' as there's so much to do here no matter what your interests.
London has fantastic sights and history. Wonderful bars and restaurants. And a vibrancy that matches any city in the world!
I love to travel and work for a travel company myself. I've been to over 40 countries in the last 10 years and my favourite of all was Japan
In Tokyo I stayed in a great rental from which I explored the city like a local. I thought it was such a great idea I wanted to share my place with visitors to London so they could get an authentic experience of my city too!
I hope you like it. Let me know if you gave any questions
