About this property
Broad Iron Cottage - Peace and tranquillity in a beautifully converted barn
Broad Iron Cottage is a spacious and comfortable place for 4 guests to relax and enjoy their stay, set in 100 acres of farmland and converted from original Victorian farm buildings in 2013, we've been delighted to host guests from all over the world for anything from 3 days to 6 months for travel, work or even temporary accommodations while house renovations are underway.
Downstairs features a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, a king bedroom, a shower room and a spacious living/dining area.
Upstairs is a twin room (2 single beds) and an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.
As parents and grandparents ourselves we understand the importance of child safety, child comfort and parental needs and that is why we are happy to offer cot beds, high chairs and stair gates in both cottages, all available on request.
On site solar and ground sourced heat generation provide much of the energy used to keep the lights on, the kettle boiled and your feet warm, produced from renewable sources right here on the farm.
Upon arrival you can let yourself in with the key safe and find a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and some biscuits to get you settled in.
We are also happy to now offer high speed (75mb) broadband, perfect for Netflix, skype, gaming or work.
In the living room is a 50" Smart TV for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV etc. You just need to log in with your details.
The 20x20m rear garden is shared with our other holiday cottage and is secluded enough for children to play in peace and safety.
EV charging is available via a Zappi with a Type 2 cable.

A good stay, and it had good facilities. My wife mentioned some minor cleaning issues, but I couldn't see them. We didn't stay for long as were were there to attend a local event, but overall a good place to stay in the area.
Beautiful property. Quiet and relaxing experience. Lots to see and do within an hour in all directions. Host responds quickly and is ready to address any concerns (we did not have any). I highly recommend staying here. Regarding the VRBO National parks question on the survey, it does not apply if you did not go to one.
A really nice property with plenty of space and has good access to places to visit. Excellent facilities for dogs with plenty of open spaces and public footpaths nearby. The owners are really nice and were quick to respond to the queries we had. A lovely welcome pack greeted us which was much appreciated.
Lovely old farm building, with all mod cons available
Peaceful setting, but within easy reach of a small town and a myriad of lovely country pubs (The Old Bull at Inkberrow, Pickled Plum at Pershaw are both recommended!). Ideal for holidaying with elderly couple with a downstairs bedroom, WC/Shower - very hard to find in this area! Helpful hosts to make your stay comfortable. Thank you for the welcome pack!
We had a fantastic stay at Broad Iron Cottage. Enough seating inside and outside, two bathrooms come und very handy when you are a group of four. Beds comfortable and all rooms offer enough space.
Not to forget Jess, Darren, Faye and Mike: they were the most welcoming and helpful hosts!
We definitely consider to come back.
Best regards from Martina and Family
Went with my 3 sisters for a catchup reunion as we live in different parts of the country and hadn't seen each other for over 2 years because of covid. had an amazing time together and exploring surrounding villages and countryside .
Thank you for a lovely stay, we all enjoyed it it will be nice to stay longer next time, what a lovely location and environment, I loved the. Morning walks with the dog across the field one massive plus point for us. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable for our needs, we are already discussing coming back and having a family holiday with the 7 of us and the dog. Thank you again
Cottage très vaste, propre et bien équipé. Propriétaire charmante. Pack de bienvenue bien garni. Séjour très calme. Non loin de Stratford, Warwick, Birmingham etc...
Broad Iron cottage proved to be a wonderful and comfortable base for us, whilst visiting the local area, where we used to live. We were down for a wedding in the middle weekend, and visiting family and friends and old haunts the rest of the time. Truly a home-from - home!

Brilliant accommodation, best we have stayed in for a long time. Very clean and everything we needed. Brilliant base to explore the area. Would have given 10 stars for everything but only 5 were available. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Hi Gabrielle,

We had a very nice stay at Seaford Farm
Cottages with our dog who enjoyed his walks in the field. The cottage was mostly clean and the welcome package was a nice touch. Some of the kitchen pans either need a good clean or throwing out entirely and there were a few minor cleaning misses (stain on an upstairs bedside cabinet which came off with a simple wipe and cobwebs in the ceiling). The road is not as quiet as one might expect and it may be worth considering a hot water caution sign as it gets very hot very quickly. All in all, a lovely visit and would be happy to return.

Hi Amanda,
We appreciate your feedback and will discuss with our cleaners the points raised and look at the hot water. As far as the road is concerned, we live on a rural farming community road, which regularly has tractors, trailers and combine harvesters travelling between farms. It is harvest season for many crops so the traffic will be slightly higher than normal. We are pleased you enjoyed your time with us, stay safe and well!
Our holiday here was just lovely. The cottage was clean and had everything you could possibly need. We didn’t want to leave.

About the host

Our family has been farming in the area for over 100 years and we are pleased to welcome you to Seaford Farm.
My mother and I deal with the cottages and guests while my husband and my father handle the maintenance, online presence and other farm business.
When you stay at Seaford Farm, its a stay with a family run business with great knowledge of the area and its surroundings.
Why they chose this property
I grew up on this farm and played in these cottages as a child while they were still working farm buildings so it's a pleasure to be living here now with a family of my own welcoming guests from all over the world.
