About this property
Bodenhammer Cabin - Mountain Home Arkansas
My cabin is located in the heart of Mountain Home Arkansas, although it is in the city it has a country feel due to the very large yard. The cabin is great for business travelers and families on vacation. Many of our guest are coming to visit their family and want a home rather than a hotel. It is just a great place to relax.
Mountain Home is located between two lakes, Norfork Lake and Bull Shoals Lake. It is only a short drive from three rivers, the Buffalo National River, White River and North Fork River. You can enjoy all kinds of water sports like boating, canoeing and swimming. If you love fishing this is the place to come, we are well known for great fishing of all kinds all year long, as well has a variety of fishing styles such as fly fishing. The area has fabulous hiking trails, such as the well known Indian Rock House Nature Trail on the Buffalo River, the Whitaker Point Trail on the upper Buffalo Wilderness area, many trails near Blanchard Springs Caverns, as well as local trails such as David’s Trail. We have some great places to enjoy horseback riding and if you love to play golf, Mountain Home has two beautiful golf courses.
We are less than an hour’s drive from Mountain View, which is well know for folk music and crafts. The Ozark Folk Center and the famous Blanchard Springs Caverns are located near Mountain View.

Such a beautiful cabin with everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay. Upstairs loft bedroom is spacious, kitchen very well stocked, great screen room to sit out and bird watch and a sun room filled with windows that provides a setting for a great cup of coffee and conversation. Honestly, can’t think of anything that needed improvement. Easy walk to the town square too! Will stay again on our next visit to Mountain Home.

Thank you so much. We would love to have you again, Cathy.
The house had a unique charm with the original rock wall and beautiful woodwork throughout. It was clean, modern and comfortable. My adult son and I stayed there for six days in September on our fishing trip.
This property was even more beautiful in person. Located right off a main road so easy to access but because the way the home is position it feels like its miles outside of town once inside. The owners were easy to reach and very responsive. Checking in was a breeze. We loved staying here and have already discussed rebooking on our next trip to Mountain Home.
The backyard view is serene and the location is super convenient. It’s clear the owner pays attention to details and creates a comfortable stay. Thank you!!!
Lovely stay, I had a wonderful weekend with my kids and my husband. The cabin it’s a dream just like I imagine cozy and had everything we need to enjoy in family, Beautiful place definitely will be back soon!

Thank you for choosing Bodenhammer Cabin, we look forward to having you stay again.
Incredible. In town but you would never know it. Very quiet inside. Not a piece of drywall in the cabin. All White Oak, Cedar, and natural stone. Great interior lighting, and every detail was taken care of. Beautiful kitchen, baths, and comfy king size bed. Hosts were super nice and were available to answer questions. The squirrels were entertaining.
The cabin was just as advertised if not better! I loved the open space of the bedroom loft, the gas fireplace, and rock walls. We highly recommend and would stay again!

Very unique and cozy. If the weather wasn't so hot, we would have enjoyed the outdoors more. The beds were firm but comfortable. Definitely enjoyed the experience! Thank you!Just an extra note: There were a few spiders who were uninvited guests!

We will spray. Thanks for the tip. This time of year around here is bad for spiders.
This cabin was adorable. From the old stone to the beautiful Cedar wood throughout, we were enamored. The smell was wonderful. It's the perfect place for a quiet weekend away.
Excellent choice for a place to relax. Good location with easy access to the area. Many restaurants nearby with simple shopping. Quiet and simple living.
I came into Mountain Home to fish a tournament. It was everything or better than described. The owners responded promptly. It was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
I loved the cabin! It was perfect for my reunion with family. The reasons i didn't give it a 5 star were that the furniture was not very comfortable, there was no oven and the microwave was not easily accessible as it was above the refrigerator. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend.
