Elounda George Studios - Studio #1

In the early 1990s, George and Maria decided to run the family business, "George Studios", a lodging with 10 studios in beautiful Elounda. The studios cooperated with a range of well-known travel agencies of that time (e.g. Thomas Cook, Manos Travel and Olympic Holidays) and gained quickly reputation as well as several repeater customers. In parallel, both Maria & George worked in the domain of tourism in other activities and soon got two daughters, Eleni and Konstantina. After some years of work, travelling and discussions, they jointly decided to renovate the Studios, giving them a special and refreshing character. For the Studios’ renovation and operation, environmentally-friendly materials, unique fabrics and all the necessary equipment were used, offering a warm and comfortable atmosphere to the visitor. The studios were renamed to "Elounda George Studios" and stand out for their style, the concept they are based on, in accordance to the principles of Sustainability and the experience they aspire to offer to the visitor providing various aspects of Cretan culture.

With lots of love and respect towards travelers and intense the feeling of social responsibility towards people, the environment and our potential partner-businesses, the renamed “Elounda George Studios” aspire to host you in one of our 6 fully equipped, functional, renovated rooms, decorated in a minimal cozy and roustic style. All the colors and materials used are fully harmonized with the surrounded natural landscape offering a warm atmosphere to the guest. The rooms have view to the mountain, the sea, the surrounded olive groves and the cute garden of our property.

Our property is located in a quiet street in cosmopolitan Elounda, in Lasithi Crete, five minutes away from the nearest beaches and some of the most interesting local archaeological sites and points of interest.

It is a two floor, quiet and peaceful place, with many olive groves and mountains around, 5 minutes walking from the centre, while all the services (super markets, pharmacy, tavernas & restaurants, cafes, post office, shops etc.) are very close in walking distance while the sea emerges on the horizon from the upper floor. All the rooms have their own individual spacious balconies, while a small beautiful garden yard is on the ground floor on the backside of the building. Also there are two library spots on ground and first floor from where you can borrow books. Notable is the fact that all the nearby beaches are awarded by the Blue Flags institution. Finally a welcome gift will expect you upon arrival and for the repeaters guests extra amenities will be offered.

The maximum capacity per Self Contained Apartment is 3 persons. Each Self contained apartment has its own equipped kitchen and private bathroom with a range of amenities described below:
