Unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico is ultimate relaxation. This beautiful condominium has 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths and comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped, cable and WIFI is provided, and a stackable washer dryer will wash the sand off your clothes each night. The unit has a spectacular view and is within walking distance of the beach. The Pointe West Beach Club is a short walk away and has a pool and hot tub, restaurant and bar, fitness club, game room and gift shop. Bikes are available to rent from the management at the Club and trails run through the complex to ride, run or walk the property. A second pool is on the other side of resort directly on Galveston Bay. The sunsets are spectacular, the lazy river pool or hot tub relaxing and the shady palms calm you.

The Pointe West Community has a gas grill by the swimming pools for guests to use or charcoal grills spread throughout the complex so the family can enjoy cookouts. During the summer months activities for families and kids our offered throughout the weekend. On Saturday evenings in the summer there is live music at the Beach Club. Come to the best kept secret on the West side of Galveston Island!

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Shades of home

Second year staying at this property and we came back for a reason, the overall feel is very welcoming and is set away from the bustling crowds. It's a short drive from the city center but the peace is worth the trip. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Perfect Location!

We LOVED this condo. It was clean. The location to the Beach Club and deck to the ocean was perfect. The view was incredible. It was quiet and peaceful. Its also close to the fire pit and grill.

Wonderful beach trip

We had a wonderful time vacationing here. Their is a great view of the beach. Short walk to the beach club and to the walkover. Condo was clean and the manager went out of her way to make our stay even better. Thanks for sharing the condo with us.

Little Piece of Heaven

After staying in Galveston for many years, this was our first stay at Pointe West. We enjoyed the quieter end of the island! Our teenagers loved the game room and pickleball court. All the little extra amenities in our condo created an extra relaxing getaway! We will return!

Cozy condo with great unobstructed beach views . Only thing unpleasant was mosquitoes , a must is mosquito repellent spray walking to and from the beach . Our second stay at Pointe West and another wonderful adventure this time too…..

Anniversary celebration.

Overall the place was good. Snacks were a bit stale and the place was a bit on the expensive side, but otherwise we had a great experience. View was really good. Balcony has uninterrupted view to the ocean. Property managers were responsive.

Ideal Galveston location

We came in for a quick two night stay and I wish I could have stayed for a week. The location was absolutely perfect with a huge deck to enjoy it from. Very comfortable beds, large rooms, good sized kitchen and dining area. The location to pool (next door) was ideal and easily accessed, even with a baby stoller. Same with the beach. Very close and easy access to the boardwalk going to the beach. Just perfect.

Beautiful and Cozy

The condo is beautiful and very comfortable. The owners provided an excellent array of amenities which was perfect for a two night stay. I am very grateful we did not need to bring a lot of extra items for such a short stay. The unit has brand new floors that really add to the beauty. Thank you for a fabulous weekend.

Great Place and Location

The condo was very cozy and comfortable with a great patio and view. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and it was cold. They had everything we needed but make sure to bring beach towels! The property manager was extremely prompt in answering emails and very accommodating. We will be back!

Awesome Vacation

We had an amazing time this last week! The condo is more beautiful than the pictures do it justice. It’s fully stocked and very clean. The view from the balcony is stunning. The location of the condo is perfect, close to the pool and beach. Communication was excellent as well. We are already planning our stay here next year. 😊

Beautiful facility and experience in every way. Microwave was not working and a few lightbulbs were out. We never could find a place to launch our kayaks into the bay.

Our Second Stay at Pointe West

This is our second time at Pointe West but the first in this condo. We live the abilities to have a pools along with the beach. Everything was perfect for our stay. I packed extra supplies (like garbage bags) but did not need them for our 5 day stay. We had everything needed in the kitchen, frig was good and bathrooms were good. I loved the living room set up and all the decorations but the porch/deck was the best feature - comfortable furniture for watching the views. Just beware as others note for these rentals that the elevator may not work. We were aware of this from our first stay. It's out of control for the owners so we made sure to pick a first floor rental. I would definitely rent this unit again.

A great stay at Bungalow by the Sea

We had a wonderful vacation staying at this property. In sum, it’s comfortable, has a great view and is conventiently located within the Pointe West resort. It is just a short walk to the pool and beach. And we appreciated that it is located on the first floor of the building. We loved relaxing on the balcony in the afternoons; it has a beautiful view of the ocean. It’s roomy, beautifully furnished, has plenty of comfortable chairs, and beds were comfortable. It is well stocked with everything you might need to cook etc. My only complaint is that the balcony is east facing, so it is too bright and hot to sit out there in the mornings, but it’s comfortable in the afternoons and evenings. Pointe West is a great place to stay for a family beach vacation in Galveston. The beaches are clean and not crowded. We went in August and had a span of beach the size of football field all to ourselves. We would head to the beach in the mornings and relax at the condo in the afternoons and then do dinner and swimming at the main pool in the evenings. The resort restaurant had good food and will serve you poolside. We stayed 4 nights and only went into town for dinner once because the restaurant is closed on Mondays. It is a 30 minute drive to the Galveston Seawall, so if you want to do a lot of things in town keep that in mind. We typically enjoy the Seawall and Strand on our way into town and after we leave the resort.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful condo. Perfect for our family of 6 to get away for a long weekend. Location is perfect - a very short walk to the Beach Club and access to the beach. Balcony has a lovely view of the dunes/beach. Clean, comfortable, had everything we need! Will be back!

Beautiful and secluded

The stay was great but the kitchen felt like it could use a deeper clean. Also, the restaurant and bar were closed and there was nothing within 10 minutes of driving so that was frustrating, especially the first night.

70th birthday disappointment

We've been to Pointe West before and this condo was the nicest we've ever had. Unfortunately, it may have been a mistake coming to Pointe West so soon after a hurricane. The condo was very clean but smelled of mildew. The manager was responsive and a change of filters fixed that problem. But the elevator was broken, the game room was closed, and the mosquitoes were awful. Then the electricity to our building shorted out. Thankfully the manager was able to move us to a different condo.
