Comfortable house with good access to London public transport

This house is located in walking distance (7 minutes) to each of Wimbledon station (with access to District line) and South Wimbledon station (with access to Northern line). With this it is a perfect starting point for sight-seeing tours to London, but also for visits to places like Guildford or Hampton (via South Western Railway). The house is in a good (though not perfect) state. The heating and Wi-Fi works perfectly. The house is equipped for all intents and purposes, it offers more than required beds for our family of 5. We loved the house (even though some of the chairs and a pan appeared quite old/used, and might require a replacement). Being allergic to dust I contacted the owners on this possible problem prior to our stay, and I was happy to find the house in a perfectly clean state at arrival. Contact with the owners (via the chat offered by fewo-direct) worked perfectly and was kind.

La casa de los horrores

Las vacaciones de Semana Santa empezaron siendo un horror,por la casa.En la entrada,había contenedores llenos de basura que impedían entrar.Dentro, se nos pegaban los pies en el suelo de parquet,de lo sucio que estaba.Habia polvo, telarañas, mosquitos muertos pegados en la pared,los estores de las ventanas,sucios y rotos,el sofá, sucio y hundido,faltaban sillas en el salón(íbamos 8 y comiamos por turnos)y la tela de las sillas, con muchas manchas.En la cocina,más suciedad aún:Los muebles,por fuera,llenos de grasa y por dentro,vimos hasta cucarachas pequeñas.No había estropajos limpios,ni bayetas y el paño de cocina que había, imaginad como de sucio.El suelo,estaba pegajoso también y el fregadero,estaba de color gris y su color era blanco.El microondas y el tostador de pan sucios,con restos de comida y las dos neveras que había(una en el salón y la otra en la cocina),sucias por dentro.En el jardín,muy descuidado,había una mesa,sin cristal y las sillas,muy sucias.Al subir a la planta de arriba,más:la moqueta del suelo,con restos de suciedad y manchas.En uno de los dormitorios,una de las puertas del armario,de cristal, estaba rota y pegada con cinta adhesiva(y llevábamos un niño de 5 años que dormía en esa habitación).Los armarios, por dentro sucios,con tornillos,herramientas,telarañas, y en otras habitaciones,con puertas que no cerraban porque estaban descolgadas o como en mi habitación,que el armario de movía al colgar cosas,por la inestabilidad que tenía.Las camas,con los colchones y edredones llenos de manchas,el somier roto(que arreglaron poniendo ladrillos debajo),las almohadas amarillas(de no lavarlas nunca)y las toallas, también con manchas.Los baños,más horror:pelos por todos sitios,lavabos con restos de pasta de dientes,mamparas con suciedad y moho,espejos sucios y toalleros con polvo.Llamamos a los propietarios,pero no conseguimos hablar con nadie hasta las 7 de la tarde.Quién nos contestó el teléfono, era un intermediario.Mi hermana que vive allí,habló con él desde su móvil.Le pedimos que nos buscase un hotel.Se negó y entonces,nos devolvieron la mitad del precio cobrado por una noche(No el importe total de una noche)Nos dijeron que mandarían a alguien a limpiar al día siguiente,que saliesemos de la casa a las 10.Cuando volvimos,estaba mejor,pero aún había restos de suciedad(Tengo fotos de todo). Lo único bueno es la ubicación, pero prefiero casa limpia a casa bien ubicada.Vrbo debería comprobar que las casas que alquilan están en bien.
