Among the numerous sights of Saaremaa, several are worth calling special attention to, e.g. Angla windmill hill, Mustjala cliff, bell tower built in the 17Ih century at Kihelkonna, manor house at Loona, ruins of Maasi castle of order, and Mihkli Farm Museum at Viki. The medieval churches of Saaremaa have remarkable archaic architecture, e.g. churches of Pöide and Karja. The oldest of them - the church of Valjala - was built in the 13th century. The most important tourist sight in the only town of the county, Kuressaare is the bishopric castle dating from the 13lh century. Saaremaa has very rich flora and fauna. Besides Viidumae and Vilsandi Nature Reserves, there are over two hundred single nature objects under protection - parks, high cliffs, large trees, erratic boulders and unique marshy lowlands. The meteorite crater at Kaali (20 km from the house) is the biggest in Europe and easily approachable for visitors.

Very clean & tidy property in a quiet location, wonderful sauna, surrounded by trees & just a short stroll from the sea. Perfect for anyone wanting to have a relaxing holiday away from it all.
The stairs are really steep, so not good for young children and those not confident on their legs.
We loved the property.
Although there is not a vast amount to do on Saaremaa, there are one or two places worth going to.
Unfortunately we did not see much wildlife, but is out there, we just weren't lucky.
Wir haben 6 Nächte in diese Cottage verblieben. Sehr ruhige Lage in der Nähe vom Meer. Sauna, grosse Garten alles sehr gut gepflegt.

Relaxing & peaceful
We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing stay in the Saaremaa countryside. The house had everything we needed for getting away from it all for a few days and we loved having a bbq and fire on an evening. Having bikes available was an added bonus. The house is in a lovely, quiet location but still within an hour's drive of most of Saaremaa and Muhu. Urmas was very helpful and quick at answering any questions we had before our stay and in showing us around on arrival, providing lots of useful information on the surrounding area. We would have loved to stay longer and would highly recommend.

Me and my family live in Tallinn, but try to spend our time in Saaremaa as often as possible. We love its unique nature and tranquillity.
Why they chose this property
We were seeking for comfortable summerhouse in the middle of nature and close to the sea and were absolutely enchanted by the quietness and beauty of the place when entered to the property for the first time. Now we'd like to share this unique place and surroundings with our guests.
What makes this property unique
Nature sounds, quietness, scent of the sea and pine forest is the best relaxation you can wish from your vacation and still you have all the comforts of the house the city-residence would offer. The most precious moments with family can be spent in silent and warm summernights sitting around the fireplace and telling stories.
