About this property

Modern Madeira house in Calheta, Madeira

Brand new residence opened in 2019. This is a detached residence, architect design, fully equipped, and furnished.
Accommodation comprises two large bedrooms and a large shower room upstairs (with raindrop shower), downstairs toilet, wide open space kitchen, dining area, and lounge space. All beautifully furnished with a very modern bright well-lit feel.
Both bedrooms have sea view, twin beds, and fitted wardrobes. Linen is also provided and, if necessary, a baby cot (free of charge).
Kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer, and crockery that should be enough for your use.
The lounge has a large sitting area with leather sofa, large screen TV with international channels, and Internet television. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Outside there are pretty gardens, with a veranda where you can also enjoy the sea and mountain views and peace and quiet, also a hard standing to park one car inside the gates of the property, which are electronic and remote control operated.
The property is completely safe for children and has all the comprehensive statutory safety security tests, complying with all licence requirements

A lovely house with a garden, good sea views. Easy to park once we located the property. The initial directions were a few 100 metres from the house. A local bar just down the road opposite a well supplied supermarket. A good choice of restaurants down at the harbour (need to drive). Also lovely restaurants in the next village along Jardim do Mar - especially Joe’s Bar

A Wonderful House

The house was really spacious, well equipped and very clean. We had everything we needed. Th garden was lovely, with a nice view of the sea. The only thing that was a little unexpected was that there was nothing left from previous occupants in the kitchen , for example any oil, condiments etc. The owners were very easy to communicate with and they always replied promptly to any queries. This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in and I would highly reccommend it.

Regarding oil, salt, or other condiments, I decided not to leave anything in the kitchen, as it's very difficult to know what each guest likes. I've had some problems with this in the past, so I've decided that the responsibility lies with the guest.

Lovely Home in Good Safe Location

Most accommodating hosts ever, who bailed us out when our rented auto went kaput. They rescued us in Funchal and stayed by our side for four hours until help arrived. I don't have enough stars to rate these kind and generous folks. The stay in Calheta was wonderful. The home was clean and spacious. Top rating from us. Nettes Ferienhaus im Süden von Madeira

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen auf der Insel Madeira in Lucilias Haus verbracht. Das Haus lag in einer ruhigen Gegend, allerdings an einem sehr steilen Hang. Wir hatten einen direkten Parkplatz durch ein Tor direkt am Haus. Die Vermieter waren super nett, jegliche Anfragen und Probleme wurden immer direkt geklärt. Ein kleinerer Supermarkt war in unmittelbarer Nähe und ein größerer knapp 10 Minuten entfernt, direkt am Strand.Das Ferienhaus hatte einen super Ausblick aufs Meer, eine Terrasse mit vier Stühlen, einen Wohnbereich mit Küche, zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Bad und eine extra Toilette. Von der Ausstattung hätte ich mir etwas mehr Geschirr gewünscht, da es keine Spülmaschine gibt und man bei vier Personen so jeden Tag spülen muss. Die Schränke in der Küche waren nicht so sauber, aber ansonsten war das Haus ordentlich und sauber. Wir würden jederzeit noch einmal wieder kommen.

Vielen Dank auch für die Erläuterung der Sauberkeit der Küchenschränke. Wie bereits erwähnt, ist mir Sauberkeit sehr wichtig, weshalb ich über Ihren Kommentar besorgt war. Nach unserem Gespräch stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass die Schränke innen nicht schmutzig waren, sondern außen Flecken aufwiesen, die nur aus der Ferne sichtbar waren.

Un logement spacieux et confortable meme si les enfants ont trouvé leurs lits fermes. Dommage quil n'y ait pas de lave-vaisselle et qu'un minimum de produits essentiels (en dehors du papier toilette fourni) ne soit pas à disposition. Cela serait ainsi parfait. La route en contrebas n'est absolument pas un problème. On entend davantage les chiens du voisinage comme dans n'importe quel lieu.

Leider nicht für Lärmempfindliche

Leider war das Objekt vom Straßenlärm umgeben bis abends, nachts war es aber ruhig. Die Schnellstraße ist angrenzend, verläuft unterhalb des Grundstücks zur Terrasse Ausrichtung und die Anliegerstraße auf der anderen Grundstücksgrenze. Die Töpfe, Geschirr, Pfannen waren teilweise schmutzig und mit Spinnweben belegt. Ansonsten ist das Haus modern und mit schönen Fliesen, auch Möbeln bestückt.

Sehr geehrte Frau Sylvia, Ich weiß den Kommentar zu schätzen, aber ich konnte nicht anders, als überrascht zu sein, wenn Sie sagen, dass das Geschirr und die Pfannen teilweise schmutzig waren und Spinnweben hatten. Nein, das passiert nicht in meinem Haus, mein Mann und ich machen die ganze Reinigung und unsere größte Aufmerksamkeit gilt diesem Teil, die Reinigung ist das Wichtigste für uns, und ich glaube, dass wir das Haus immer 100% sauber verlassen, das ist Warum ich deinen Kommentar nicht verstanden habe, ich glaube wirklich, dass du dich mit irgendeinem anderen Haus anlegst, nicht mit meinem. sehr erholsam

ländlich gelegen, sauber und ordentlich, modern, unkomplizierter Checkin und Checkout. Aber nix für Katzenfreunde. Tiere sind hier nicht erwünscht. Und von Katzen wimmelt es nur so auf Madeira. Leider hatten wir 3 Kakerlaken im Haus. Die Vermieterin hat sich aber sofort um die Entseuchung gekümmert!

Es war wunderschön

Wir hatten ein ganzes Haus für uns, traumhaft schön. 2 wunderbare Schlafzimmer, eine Küche mit Waschmaschine, einen geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnraum und einen eigenen Garten. Zum Meer war es allerdings sehr weit, es war immer nur zu sehen. Wir mussten bis Calheta fahren, um an den Strand zu kommen (5 km).
