Restored farmhouse, a former 14th century ironworks, located in the beautiful LASTUR Valley within the great limestone massif of Izarraitz in the heart of the Basque Coast Geopark, in the mountains and 10 km from Deba beach.
The farmhouse is rehabilitated with stone and wood. It has 5 rooms with their own bathroom and 2 kitchens for the exclusive use of customers, together with a large garden area with a porch, tables and a barbecue.
We also have an Apartment located next to the farmhouse in a ground floor building, built in a rustic style, with wood as its main element. It has a kitchen - dining room - living room (with fireplace), a spacious room with a double bed and a complete bathroom. Outside, your own porch along with your barbecue.
The main activity is the production of Idiazabal sheep cheese. You can visit the cheese factory and learn the cheese making process.
Another activity is the process of transforming the wool of our sheep, such as: carding, spinning, natural dyes and high and low smooth loom.
You can also help in the garden.
