This mid-terraced cottage lies in the heart of Whitby surrounded by the North York Moors and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Rails End is located in a lovely area of Whitby, overlooking its steam railway, near the banks of the River Esk. It comprises two ground floor double bedrooms, sleeping four people. There is also a ground floor bathroom, first floor cloakroom, along with a first floor open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the exterior is a small garden with lawn, patio are and seating, as well as ample off-road parking. Rails End is the perfect base to return to after an adventure on the moors.

Amenities: Gas Central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer. TV, WiFi. Bed linen inc in rent. Allocated parking for one car and nearby parking on a first come first serve basis. Enclosed garden with patio, furniture and lawn (accessed through double bedroom). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Four trains, plus steam trains, pass by property between 8.30am and 7.15pm daily, some associated noise may be heard. Please note: From the car park there are several steps leading down to the cottage.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. It is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
