Dobrinj is located on a hill which is 200 m high and is known as "White City in the middle of the island". When you step there you will return to the year 1100, when the first written record of this place dates. Traces of priceless material heritage are everywhere, so walking through the old part of the city and the square - Placa will make you have the impression that you are really traveling through time. On the Plaza, gaze at the Maskeron (a stone male head carved into the wall) and try to figure out what no one has yet - its author. The Dobrinj park "Jardin" was made famous by the writer and Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić. As you pass through the autochthonous stone streets, you will probably hear the sounds of the sopel (instrument from Krk), so if you are attracted to learning new instruments, you can also try that in Dobrinj.
