Ringcladdy Barn, Slievemoyle
Ringcladdy Barn is excellent bunkhouse accommodation for groups up to 24 guests. Situated among the drumlin hills of beautiful Co. Down , yet with easy access to all of the attractions of Strangford Lough and the coast, the Barn is perfect for groups staying for an activity break, a retreat, or a friends or family get-together. An adjacent cottage can sleep a further 8 people – a bonus for even larger groups. - please ask for details. Spacious grounds make it possible to park boat trailers while secure out buildings provide storage for bicycles and other equipment.
There are opportunities to engage in outdoor pursuit activities in nearby Castle Ward Estate and Kilclief beach is only two miles away along a quiet and safe country road. Bicycle and canoe hire is readily available in the local area – including electric bikes.
There are four bunk rooms, 2 with 8 bunks and 2 with 2 bunks, two shower rooms - one for the guys and one for the gals in mixed groups. Each has 2 electric showers (instant hot water) and 2 basins in each. One has 2 toilets and the other has 1.
The Barn kitchen has a separate entrance and is fully equipped with all you are likely to need to cater for a large group. This includes a 5 ring cooker, 3 ovens, large fridge/freezer, dish washer, clothes washer, cutlery, crockery, glasses and plenty of cook ware. Toasters, a microwave oven and electric kettles complete the kitchen equipment. The Kitchen is adjacent to the dining area making for quick and easy transfer of food to the table and efficient serving.
