Our house is located 5 miles west of downtown Reno in a quiet, safe neighborhood nestled between the hills and the Truckee River. The contemporary, four-bedroom, single-story house is a great fit for 8-10 people. With tall ceilings and a clutter-free, bright, open great room, it is a perfect spot for entertaining while visiting the Biggest Little City. Go for a hike or trail run up in the hills, bike or fly fish along the Truckee River, or just relax and play pool, ping pong, or grill and relax in the hot tub. A two-car garage is available for you to park your cars or keep your gear. With close highway access, you can quickly be on your way to Truckee, Northstar, Squaw Valley, Mt. Rose, or any of the other local Reno and Tahoe attractions. Enjoy the Sleep Number king bed in the master bedroom and either of the two gas fireplaces in the house.

Property was well equiped for our stay. We were in Reno for a volleyball tournament. We had 2 teens and 3 adults. The only advice I'd give is to bring towels for the spa if you plan to use it. There weren't enough towels for showering and drying off after using the spa. We had to wash and reuse which was ok but could have done without. Great neighborhood just far enough from the city to relax after the hustle of the 3 days of tournament. The pool and ping pong tables were great ways to interact and giggle together.
Check in was easy. Kitchen well stocked. Scpaious. 3 tvs. One bedroom is an office. Without a door. My adult son used it though and was comfortable. Would stay again for sure. Good neighborhood
Everything was great but a bit challenging to get my brother in and out of the bedroom and bathroom with him being in wheelchair but overall an excellent stay.
We had a wonderful time. The house was exactly what we wanted. The host responded very quickly. The only issue was the train horn at 2:45 in the morning, then again at 3am the first night/morning of our stay. It didn’t happen every day at that time, but was a rude awakening the first night. Other than that, it was in a great location, and tucked away from other noise.
This was our 2nd time at the house and we will definitely book again - it’s a perfect set up for a family or group. The location and amenities are fantastic. Highly recommend!
This was second time we stayed here and it was as good as before. Family reunion Thanksgiving was easily accommodated in 3 bedrooms and fenced in backyard for dog. Wonderful walking trails in hills across street and along Truckee river. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. No complaints.
I booked this stay for my son's wedding weekend/Labor Day. He lives in the neighborhood so it was convenient. If you're looking to be close to downtown/midtown this is 10 minutes away. It was a great property for extended family.
The house is super clean. Not like dude clean, like this passes clean grandma test. Usually my mom will complain the minute we walk into a VRBO house and it lasts for 15 minutes, and then she gets it out of her system. I expected this stay and it never happened so thats great she couldn't find anything to complain about. Thats the highest praise I can give.
The pics are pretty accurate. It says 4 BR and technically 1 is a BR but not super private. The master is huge and has a sleep number bed, a huge tub, and fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked and you could whip up a meal with what is on hand, but we spent most meals outside of the house. The furniture is in good condition and comfortable.
The pool table, ping pong table, and hottub are nice amenities but I was so busy with wedding stuff so never had a chance to use them.
Will keep this one in my favorites and will probably stay again.
Property was perfect. Great location, great neighborhood. Central to all our activities. Our main reason for visiting Reno was to attend Rodeo. Had a great time. Only minor issue was the hot tub jets didn't seem to have any power. Otherwise, wonderful! Will rent again if in Reno.
Charming location walking distance to mountain hiking trails and Truckee river. 10 minutes from downtown. House is in well-kept neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The home is well appointed and pet friendly with excellent enclosed back yard. Wi-Fi signal excellent . Train sounds periodically add to atmosphere. We are rebooking for later this year for family reunion.
Clean and comfortable 3 bedroom home with large kitchen and dining area. Perfect accommodations for my family's get together. Quiet family neighborhood near public land trails and fishing the Truckee River. Easy communications with the property manager. We plan to book again this summer!!
We were very happy with our stay at this property. I have rented many homes traveling with my large family, and we all agreed that this home had the best kitchen set up of any home we've ever rented. There is always a kitchen device that we can't find and wish we had when cooking at our VRBO's in the past, but this home had everything we needed and more.
We also appreciated the games in the living room as my toddlers spent a lot of time playing with the new toys.
All the beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. The home was located in a nice neighborhood that was easy driving distance from all of our family in Reno. We would definitely want to stay at this home again on our next trip to visit our Reno family.
Dirty and train tracks behind house trains running 4-6 times a day and at night. Train whistle
Gross and noisy trains. Dirty dirty dirty.

What makes this property unique
The Truckee River and trails up into the hills are just across the street. Enjoy trail running, mountain biking or hiking just seconds from the house! Cool down or fly fish in the river. Road bike along the paved river path or take a longer ride on the bike path to Verdi. We have 3 "townie" bikes for you to use. Please bring a helmet, use of the bikes is at your own risk. When you're ready to enjoy Reno, downtown is just five miles to the East. A 25 minute drive will get you to Truckee and in about 40 minutes you can be skiing at Mt. Rose, Squaw, Northstar or Alpine Meadows.
