Disappointing and Disgusting
We booked this after our first stay unexpectedly canceled. All seemed fine at first. It was a little further away from where we wanted to stay and it was nice enough despite some apparent water damage outside the bathroom and on the base of the kitchen cabinets, and some low impact construction next door. When we came back from our first day of exploring, the door was completely stuck. After 20 minutes of trying to push it open, finally we got in only to discover a colony of ants had taken over the kitchen. This wasn’t one or two ants, this was clusters of ants trailing from a closet in the hall to the kitchen and back. We reached out at 11pm on Tuesday and did not hear back until 10pm on Wednesday. At that point we decided to pack up and leave, due to being locked out again the second night of the stay, this time for 45 minutes. We left Thursday morning and figured it out for the next few nights. It wasn’t until Thursday at around 2pm that they called us to try and schedule for them to come and assess the problem. We told them we are cancelling for the remaining 2 nights. They tried to say they did all the could to help and they don’t know why we are so upset. They did not get back to us after three phone calls, two texts, and two emails the second night we were locked out. This place is a red flag! Do not stay unless they make major improvements.
