Just great
Every thing was first class, possibly could do with a DVD player? One of the best properties we have stayed in.

Lovely place to stay, with amazing reviews!
We absolutely loved our stay, the bedrooms are all a brilliant size, the living room is spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed and there's a separate dining room too. The views are amazing, through the front windows you look across to the woods and can spot pine martins, and from the back look over the Dornoch Firth. The garden is huge, and secure for dogs and young children to explore. The addition of the games room downstairs was a lovely touch. The heating was on when we arrived. The only negatives we had was the 1700 check in time, which we felt was too late, and then having to be out by 9am on the last day is too early. But we would definitely return again.

Lovely home
It's a lovely home away from home and we could have happily stayed here a lot longer. It was well equipped but there were a few wee things that made it slightly less than perfect, such as the strange smell in the house and a few bits of cleaning in the corners, the couches etc. There was also no welcome pack, which after a long drive (and for that price!) would have been appreciated. One sad little tea bag and some crusty old coffee was a tad disappointing. Some tea bags and a pint of milk do go a long way...! However, it really is a very lovely home and the location is simply wonderful. We would happily stay again if possible although with the rise of prices, I'm not sure it ever will be. Even with the weather as up and down as it was, we had a lovely stay. Thanks.

6/10 Okay

Mixed bag
Arrived at 5.15.sub zero temperatures, house in total darkness and freezing cold inside. No one had bothered to put the heating on and going by the smell of the place , it hadn’t been on for ages. 7 degrees inside. Frantically looking for the heating switch which was in a cupboard. No instructions. Batteries dead in the thermostat. Had to take batteries from the tv remote control. Which we replaced the following day. Main lights in the kitchen didn’t work, Toilet in main bathroom blocked, water would rise up to the rim, thankfully there was another loo. Unpleasant smell down stairs. No toiletries apart from hand wash in the bathrooms, No welcome pack, one tea bag in the caddy, old coffee in the other. At the end of 2022 Can you still blame covid? Had to be out by 9 am and as we went next door afterwards and left there at 10.40 we know there was nobody in cleaning after we left. Leaking tap outside at front of house. This place might be better in the summer. Plus side- decent living room and bedrooms and comfortable beds.

One of our Favourite Locations
The house is in a location we have visited many times, so it was easy to find. A good size holiday home with a fantastic sized garden, which we could have enjoyed better if the weather hadnt been so wet. The house itself was very tidy and comfortable. We could have done with a few more kitchen supplies ie a mixing bowl and maybe a few pint glasses if we had to nit pick. Could also do with some better instructions about the bin collection. The property has a ring door bell which made us feel like we were potentially being watched on every entry and exit. All in all we had a good week but considering the high price, a welcome pack would have been a nice addition on arrival, rather than a sign asking you to take off your shoes.
